Faster and smaller then my similar 10 year old HP printer. Also like the new toner cartridges without plastic strips to remove before use. Only problem was downloading drivers. I had to hire a tech company to resolve driver dowload problems caused by hacked router since i was using a wireless HP printer setup.

I had a similar one to this at work & loved it, so I decided to buy it for home & small business use. Love this printer. Very easy to use. Great color. Wireless connection works great with my Mac Book PRO. Printing on both sides is a breeze! Prints great on photo paper. A breeze to set up. Overall great product.

The most frustrating thing about inkjet printers is if you don't use it once every 2-3 weeks, the ink starts to dry and ruin your printer. I've spent hundreds of dollars for printers and it's almost a scam to keep buying these ink printers! It's 2023, why do we still have unreliable inkjet printers? I wish there was a laser printer that comes close to ink level color printing. In steps this little guy! I now can print colored prints on photo paper that rivals ink, and not have to worry about using the printer often just to keep the ink from clogging. Cost effective, color vibrant, no complaints here, one happy customer! My only comment is be aware of the cost of replacing the drums if you do run out toner, cost adds up there though. Still cheaper than buying new inkjet printers all the time.

PROS: Hopefully this HP will continue to print high-quality for years. So far it prints perfectly. The ADF works fine, including the rare feature of 2-sided scanning without having to flip the page mechanically. After a bit of a false start, I found that I can manage (and selectively disable) its many options nicely through the web interface. I love that is has features like being able to force it to use only black toner even when receiving color jobs, and that can even be done per user (if you're using authN). We have Macs, iPads, Windows 10, and Windows 8 systems here. The only one that gave any difficulty with setup was the Win8 and it's flaky anyway. I appreciate how quickly it starts, prints, and then shuts down -- much quieter than the old printer. CONS: The flatbed scanner works great for single sheets on it, but it's designed horribly for scanning from bound books. It looks like it should work, but cuts off more than an inch from the edge, making it useless. The little touch screen app is not designed well. Even with small fingers and careful use, it's too easy to hit the wrong thing in some places. It's sufficiently functional but could work better. If you know anything about how to configure networks and devices, you're better off NOT using the terrible HP app for "easy setup". Like most cheapskate companies these days, its toner cartridges are INSANELY OVERPRICED, and it comes with crappy half-empty ones. But I'm hoping that the fact the cartridges include the drum units will help avoid some of the long-term maintenance problems I had with Brother (see below). Background: I recently bought this to replace the color Brother MFC-9840CDW I suffered with for years. Those Brothers have a great ADF but many serious design flaws in the print mechanisms, the worst being defective (real OEM) toner cartridges that spew toner throughout the machine, even when brand new.

I just bought this on 4/15 for my home and work/business use and set it up in less than 10 minutes. All devices were connected including mobile devices. The printer is heavy and sturdy. I have placed it on small stand used for raising monitor heights. and it still says strongly. No wobbling at all. Print noise levels are Very Very low. Boot up time is typical like with any other business printer. Front the time you turn on, the printer will be ready in About 15-30 seconds. Printing trials were amazing. Super fast printing, even wirelessly. I am proud of making a good decision. I am told the trial cartridges will last about 2400 pages in black ( No color ) and about 1200 pages in color. Which is quite impressive. Not sure about that, time will tell. Will highly recommend this model. Price seems right for the quality.

I was skeptical of purchasing another HP printer as my last one was an ink monster. I would print a couple of pages and would need the ink replaced. I started considering laser printers as I’ve heard they last longer, although a little more expensive. I did some research and thought the Brother laser would be a good buy, until I went to the store and did a comparison scan. The Brother came out washed and fading while the HP was very vivid, almost like it came right out of the print. It was also heavily discounted during the holidays. It’s easy to set up, I can print from anywhere in the house and with any device. I like that the ink last a long time. So far so good, I highly recommend and will consider another HP product in the future, but I can see this printer lasting a very long time.

I purchased this for my home office and am very satisfied. The set up was simple, fast, and the quality of the work is real good. The printer can print double-sided (which has been very helpful), has a wireless connection, and can do all the things my office machine does. The only thing that I don't like is that the output of the print jobs is slower (then again it is a small machine), the tray that holds paper does not hold an entire ream of paper (so if you don't print much, it should be no problem). The toners that come with the machine also seem to hold off real well- the cartridges are small, yet powerful as I've printed over 500 pages and they are still full. So, it's def a good device to have at home.

The ease of use from my phone to computer in and of it self is all the reward I need. The richness comes in the speed and high quality of the photos sent from my phone. I am excited to do anything printer, scan, photo, email, fax! Two things I do not like are: 1. The power button is extremely loose/flimsy 2. Equally as flimsy with a cheap feel is the paper tray Both bring down the quality of the unit. HP could have spent a few more dollars to enhance the unit’s overall stability and solidness.

We had to buy a new printer after my husband had to start working from home due to COVID-19. His company decided to have everyone work from home. He needed a quality printer that could handle a big workload. Getting right to the point: 1. This printer is worth every penny. 2. Easy set-up which is a huge complement coming from me. Kudos to who developed the set-up instructions! 3. Prints and copies beautifully and effortlessly and it is very quiet. I cannot speak for the scanner as I have no idea how to do that.

We replace a color laser and all-in-one inkjet with this device. So far, this is a terrific all-in-one laser. Color prints are crisp. Scanning is easy, and I love the option of scanning directly to a folder on our NAS. This printer is also quite a bit smaller than our previous color laser printer - so we've reclaimed a bit of office space. Two things: 1. I wish it was black. (Minor...no penalty stars) 2. Toner cartridges are hideously expensive, and you're somewhat tied to HP branded cartridges. (Significant...1 penalty star)

Very Satisfied. The most difficult part of the set up was lifting printer and connecting cords. It set itself up and connected to my home network. Easiest printer setup in my life. Features are wonderful. I have used scan to flash drive, copy and print. Most of my printing has been done from my iPhone. Speed is very commendable for a printer this size. I would definitely buy again and recommend and I paid full price for this printer. Wise investment.
