Great scanner/printer. Set up was easy. Between the provided instructions and on screen help on the printer, I got the printer wirelessly connected to my computer. Got the scanner set up to scan directly to my computer. The scan to email is iffy because HP's service is not reliable, but by scanning to my computer, I can attached to emails with no problem. I only use black or grey scale and the quality of the copies is excellent. I have no idea of the quality of color because I did not get the printer for pictures. The speed is good after it warms up before printing. Hold 150 sheets which enough. Very happy with this printer.

I love this printer! Prints quickly and clearly. Colors are vibrant. Lots of copies per cartridge. Scan function works well. Not too large and easy to operate. I hightly recommend this HP all in one!

HP printers are great, this laser printer was an upgrade from cartridge HP that lasted me 10 years. Scan, print, copy, fax, wireless, touchscreen, remote, quiet. Great choice, perfect for remote work.

Great printer combo. Setup is a little challenging and it took a minute or several, to get my scanner function to work. Their are other options for it but it keeps telling me to contact my admin. I AM THE ADMIN! Other than that, it prints and copies great!

Easy Setup, quiet and I love the double sided scanning feature. I have it setup in my home office and it does everything I need. The HP Smart software utility isn't the greatest but has everything needed in one application.

Very happy with this color laser printer so far. Easy to use. Great print quality. Love the air print feature which allows me to print directly from my iPad or iPhone. Also love the scanning to PDF, and saving to a thumb drive. Very versatile.

It works great, has a fast response time and the quality is great. I would recommend this printer to anyone. The only downside is that its a little loud, but other than that it works as it should

The printer is fast, easily connected to both Apple and MS systems. We operate it on a wireless network. It was easy to set up for printing and scanning. As we try to save paper, it is nice that it prints on both sides.

This printer has been a very good addition to our office. Prints well, connects wirelessly for printing and scanning. The printer has gotten a bit slower at printing but still does well. This printer served us well when we were forced to work remotely. I’ve only had two issues with the printer. First, the printer freaked out for a few months and would constantly cycle on and off and display a weird code. I had to factory reset it twice but it did fix the problem. The second issue is more to do with HP and less to do with the printer. The toner is insanely expensive. Buying 4 regular cartridges is the price of the printer and will give about a year of toner. Buying high yield gives you about two years or so but you spend twice the price of the printer. Insane.

This is my second HP LaserJet Pro. My other printer is a HP M500 series and is very similar to the M479. My M500 is being used at work and has served me for 7 years so far and is still going strong and I anticipate getting the same kind of durability and reliability from my M479. The print is sharp, the colors perfect. It duplexes, scans documents in duplex and saves to external thumb drives. It does more than that but the bulk of what I do is limited to those tasks. If I had one gripe it would be the amount of paper that can be loaded in the paper tray, I wish it could take a whole ream instead of a half. Other than that I'm very happy with the finished documents that this printer delivers.

very good printer. Good picture quality and Okay speeds to print doubled sided color catalog pages. The ink is still very expensive over $1,000.00 for the replacement tanks

I have two of these, and I bought this one for my Step Son who started his own business. This HP is an awesome product and excellent work horse for a business model.

This is our 2nd one of this model. Works great. My wife had one, but changed jobs and had to give it back. I purchased the new one (same model) because we had a good experience with the last one.

Easy set-up even though I am not a tech savvy person. Has been working great for us so far. Never had paper jam issues. Print & copy very fast either color or black/white. When sending fax is not very loud dialing

LOVEEEE IT!! Quick, fast and QUIET! Im very happy with my purchase. I use it for my home business and considering I just retired and started a business, I was use to a quick printer at work and now I definitely have that at home! It is heavy and on the large side compared to my old Cannon printer which was much smaller. This printer does EVERYTHING!!! Scan, fax, copy (color and black/white), has a USB, WIRELESS and much more! The printer cartridges are a bit pricey but I can print about 4000 pages before I have to deal with that. Best Buy also PRICE MATCHED so I got this printer along WITH the warranty for cheaper than the listed price! WINNING!!!

Compact printer considering amazing multi-functions. Very fast first page out. Very easy setup. Technological advance over previous models. I highly recommend.

This is my first color laser printer and it performs well so far. I like the fact I can print from my cellphone and how up to date it is with current telework functionality.

It is the best HP Laser Printer I have own. It was easy to set up. Also, it is a very quiet printer. It does not make a lot of noise when printing and turn off itself after printing. The reason why I am giving it 4 is that it is heavy.

Very happy with the printer so far. Good wireless access to 7 staff printing to it. Love the duplex printing and copying. Hope it lasts for a few years!
