Easy Setup
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has to be the EASIEST printer I have ever set up on my network! Fast, simple, and amazing! Was printing in nothing flat. The footprint is compact and excellent for a home office. The price was economical and you definitely get a lot of bang for the affordable price. After spending countless (expensive and wasted) dollars on "affordable" ink jet printers with cartridges that dried up between printings, I am more than happy to have this laser printer. If you need simple black and white printing which is clear and basic, this is an EXCELLENT choice. My only gripe (and it's manageable), if your print job has multiple pages - as the top print out feeds out - it can and will curl under and go back into the feeder tray on the bottom causing two pages to be printed on one side of a job. Bit annoying, but for me - the quality, footprint, and affordability outweigh the negative. Always happy with the consistent HP brand.

No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from HP Team
Posted .Hi there.
I’m so sorry to hear your printer overheated and that the glass on the scanner portion broke. I can understand how this would be quite unsettling, especially considering you’d had the printer only a week. Given that, I’ll offer some suggestions that I hope will help.
I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can address the issues you describe. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies. You can verify the warranty using the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

Just what I needed
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't the need to print a whole lot of stuff; just documents, receipts, etc., so this printer is perfect for me. It is comparatively small, so it doesn't take up much desk space, which is important for me. It is monochrome, which is fine, as I don't need to print in color; nor is there an ADF, which I also don't need. It's just a very competent all-in-one laser jet printer that's also affordable, quiet, and quick. And I don't have to worry about ink cartridges drying up from infrequent use. What's not to like? Highly recommended.

Great Little Printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this printer because I wanted laser-sharp prints and it is a copier and scanner. This printer delivers beautiful. clear, sharp and clean output. It is very fast. I am using basic printing and copying and still learning its other features. I also like its small size and quiet operation. It has lots of features at a very reasonable price. HP tech support is very helpful with online chat, live phone service and follow-up. This printer is replacing my previous HP printer which lasted 20 years.

Perfect Home Printer
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Crispness of laser, reliability and dependability of HP. Simply cannot go wrong with this model. Download the app and install is a cinch. Took minutes. Literally took longer to take off tape and plastic securing the parts in place than it did to actually set up. Print from iPhone and iPad - no problem. Price was very reasonable for a laser.

Simple and easy printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great! I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and I haven't encountered any problems. Setup was easy as well. I was able to install the printer using the app they tell you to use and was able to install the printer without the app, so everything has been printing wirelessly, especially since I'm still working from home. I read that when some customers print, the paper would slide back into the paper tray. There's a little paper tray for the paper when you print. The ink they provided also has ink.

Good laser printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the size of this all in one printer, copier, scanner. It is much quieter than ink jet printers I’ve had and print quality is great.I mostly use it as printer and copier, have not used scanner function. I researched laser printers for a while, am glad I decided on this one. Would highly recommend this AIO to anyone not needing color option.

High quality, small device
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this printer for my Mom and she loves it. Small, portable and very easy to set up. Quiet and prints high-quality copies or printed pages. You can easily print from a laptop or set up printing from a mobile device via an app, which took less than 5 mins to set up for her and test. Highly recommend.

It does the job
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this unit for my wife, who after 2 years in retirement got called back to work to clean up the mess they made. After two weeks in the office she is able to work from home and needed a simple printer to use for documents. This laser printer uses a toner so no ink needed. Toner cartridge is easy to change. Unit prints quickly and was easy to set up on our network. It is perfect for her needs. Again it only prints in black and white (no color) but that was exactly what we she wanted. It also scans and sends it to her work computer via Wi-Fi/Bluetooth. Unit is reasonably priced and does the job. She will probably print no more than 200 -500 pages a month. It is not intended to print huge documents as the larger printers at the office. Mainly 1 page documents sent to her that need to go into files at the office once a week. After many home printers and dealing with ink replacements cost, connection issues, and just dying, this unit so far is the best of them all. Many of which cost 100s more. She’s happy.

Awesome pritner
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this printer, very small and prints in great quality. Lots of ink and I haven't had to refill for over a year now. It scans documents as well. I wish I looked for a printer that automatically prints double sided but still a great printer.

Great Replacement to my Vintage HP BW Laser printe
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My prior HP laser printer was a hand-me-down and started making a grinding noise. This works much better directly from my personal devices (IPHONE - IPAD) without the need to email a document to my personal email address, plug in my laptop before printing. I can print from my phone and scan to my laptop wherever either may be in my home. Much easier working from home during Shelter in Place. I like the laser BW printer for economical printing and thinking of giving up my 2nd printer (photo color inkjet) altogether for the savings.

Best printer for Windows and Linux simultaneously
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this printer. I only need black and white for recipe cards, printing pdf documents that need to be signed and sent. This printer was cheaper than an ink jet all in one I bought several years ago. Then I find out its wireless. So easy to set up for the other computers in the house. My son prints out his homework assignment and my wife prints shipping labels.

Nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a pretty good laser printer. The toner came with what I hope was like a quarter fill, because I printed about 130 pages and it ran out. So maybe get a full toner when you get this. It is very fast and simple to set up and use. Use the provided cd and it will walk you through setting it up. The arm that folds out to catch the printed pages is on the smaller side, which usually isn’t an issue. If you print on both sides, you do have to take the stack of papers and reload them in the tray. This isn’t so bad unless some pages fall out of order and then prints get weird. It’s not as loud as my other printers, so that’s great. If I have my headphones on, sometimes I don’t hear it going off. The scan feature is easy, just use the program that comes on the cd. Especially considering the price, I’m happy with the results.

Perfect quick printer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally, a printer that doesn't try to do everything - it only scans and prints in B&W. I think a lot of people get caught in the trap thinking they need to print things in color on a regular basis when all they end up printing is basic documents and shipping labels for their Amazon returns. Inkjet printer cartridges dry out and jam and it's a whole process to get it going again if it's sitting for any extended period of time. With laser, you don't have to worry about that, and the warm up process is just a couple seconds, if that. The scanner is super simple for doing simple jobs, which is what I think most people need; occasional document scans for PDF creation for driver licenses/SSN cards, etc. A small desk footprint on top of a beautifully simple design aesthetic makes this a pretty perfect printer. One downside is that it doesn't have an internal paper tray, so you either have paper sticking out the bottom or you can close the door to keep it looking cleaner and keep the paper elsewhere, which isn't necessarily ideal, but it's a truly small quibble and obviously wasn't a deal breaker for me. Also, setup was stupid simple with the HP Smart App. I was up and running in about 5 minutes.
