Easy setup! I purchased this all-in-one laser printer for the convenience of being able to scan, copy, and fax with one device. I print a lot of black & white documents and do not need color printing features, which reduces the need to buy ink and toner as often. Works perfectly for my business needs.

My old HP laserjet printer finally died after 7 years. This model was on sale. I wired the unit as wired ethernet to my home network system. Works just fine. The copying feature is excellent. Will probably not use the fax feature. The scanning feature works well. A great all arount printer. The replacement toner cartridge are a bit on the pricy side.

I really like the footprint of this unit. The print quality is good and the output tray on the print side is large enough. The ADF output tray is not good. If I scan two pages the 2nd page pushes the 1st out the other end. If you put the little stop up they start to curl and clog. I would not recommend for large volume scanning. Overall I really like the unit.

THis unit was simple to set up, works well wioth all types of paper and card stock without jams. Does two sided printing and scanning without any difficulty. A lot of features for a fantastic price. It is a great solution for a small office.

Easy setup, prints fast, happy with its performance

Using this printer for a business application and would always recommend a HP to anyone. Would have given a 5 star but the only downside is toner. Hp needs to find a happy medium of keeping toner cost down in conjunction to purchase a printer. 4 toners=new printer.. Kind of a disappointing factor

I haven't used the fax or scan features as of yet. I bought this mainly for wifi printing and it works great for that. Keep in mind the cartridges it comes with seem to be like demo ones as they do not last long. Plan on investing in more toner right away if you print a fair amount. The print quality is solid. I'm a fan.

It’s work fine and very easy to install in pc. Work with our pms system to without any extra setup. Very good with Wi-Fi printing . Quality is good too. Only the issue is sometime is going sleep mode and not printing . After restart work again.

This is a high quality printer however I should of bought the printer that had a color laser and black and white laser that uses toner like the printer I have. Only this one is a black and white toner printer. It is fast and very efficient. I also like the large tray to load lots of paper.

Works better than I could imagine. I can print out documents and invoices directly from my iphone. All of our PCs on the same network print seamlessly wirelessly. The fax machine works great and the copy function is faster than our old brother setup.

Once setup process was complete, has been working great. The setup and getting connected to WIFI was not easy unfortunately. Would suggest making that a bit more user friendly / less complicated. Besides that great product thus far, we enjoy it!

HP continues to show they’re the leader in printers. I’ve used them for over 20 years as my go-to and recommendation for printer needs. They’re always very sleek looking, have little to no maintenance issues and their toner lasts forever! Super simple to setup as well. Highly recommend this for anyone!

We used to always buy ink jet printers and found they only lasted a couple of years. They were slow and the ink did not last long. The Laser Jet Pro was a GREAT improvement. It is fast, holds more paper, very intuitive to use, and feature rich. We could not be happier.

Just as the summary states, this was a long overdue investment. I had gone through 3 ink jet failures. All from dried out ink cartridges. This machine is fast! I turn it on, and it's ready to go! No waiting for a self check or cleaning. This printer is kick butt printer!!

Nice looking printer, works very well, bit of a pain getting set up but we prevailed and now happy not buying colored ink cartridges that I never used but always seemed to empty quickly forcing me to spend $100’s just to make my old printer print black. Now very happy!

This printer is only b/w but it also doesn’t waste all that color and the expense of 4 separate cartridges. This one has one toner cartridge that lasts for approximately 2k pages and toner doesn’t dry out. A little expensive but worth it in the long run.

This is a great printer. I have had it for months and have not replaced the ink yet. I love it , I think HP is a much better brand. It was a little on the pricey side but i think it was worth it because it works great. I love it.

The MFP M428fdw is a nice unit for a small office/WFH environment. Works well as a printer and copier (the latter was a surprise!). Configuring scan-to-network/scan-to-email is pending. Currently not using the fax capabilities. In general, you can't go wrong with HP for printing devices. But... What is a disappointment is that the unit does not allow simultaneous network connections to wired and wireless networks. It's either one or the other. I have computers on the wired side and tablets on the wireless network. Was hoping to be able to print from either network, but HP has made it an "either-or" situation. If you are considering this unit for that purpose, look elsewhere. I'm giving it a "Yes" for recommending, but READERS SHOULD BE FULLY AWARE OF THE CAVEATS NOTED ABOVE. For many readers, it may very well be a non-issue. Nonetheless, this should be considered as a friendly warning...

This works quite well for the new #WFH normal. The scanning on it is fast enough that I am not even using the high speed scanner that I have. I am using this for printing, scanning, faxing, and copying, and it is working great.

Overall great printer. Definitely fast enough and prints great quality. A few issues with it disconnecting and the scanning setup but that could be a network issue with my office and trying to sort it at home.
