The ease of use is great. The wireless capabilities is very convenient, being able to print and scan from my laptop and phone. - The downside and reason why I had to dock it stars : A couple of the useful capabilities only work with Windows machines, not so great for apple users. The toner cartridge comes with a chip so you have to use HP toners. I wouldn't recommend this printer for apple users, however I would recommend for windows users.

Also, I have yet to figure out how to scan directly from the printer to my computer. At this point I have to use a scanning software on my computer to scan from my printer instead of just pushing a button on my printer to scan. The screen on the printer says it doesn’t recognize my computer, yet it will print from my computer and recognizes it that way.

In addition the printing and scanning speed was slow. My wife and I decided that we really didn’t need color printing capability - so we decided to buy this printer and I’m very pleased with the performance so far. The installation is super easy and the printing is super fast! I downloaded the printer app from HP, followed the easy to understand installation instructions and had the printer up and running on my WiFi network in minutes! The app is intuitive and the scanner is easy to use - and fast!

There was a "squeak" when using the roller and it could not be resolved by calling the Geek Squad. So the agent advised me to take it to my nearest store and have it replaced. It did this with little inconvenience. I had my new printer up and running in a short time. The service attendants at my Best Buy in Arlington were there to meet my needs and make sure I was satisfied. Thank you Best Buy!
