Quirky setup but a fast, reliable printer

That said, it's much better than the previous multi-function laser printer I had, which was made by Brother. That was a huge mistake and one which I paid for many times over in the years I owned that thing. HP is known for the quality of their printers -- and rightly so!

Great jack of all trades

Good for the money

Print a few test pages for best quality out of the box. It comes with a starter toner. The scan function is a little bit slow... it's a little bit of a pain in the butt. This is not as good as the Cannon multi function fax, print, and copier machine like you'd see in a big office. But it works and it gets the job done, albeit slowly.
