Great printer!! Fast, clear, great colors and great all around printer

I don't like a lot of HP products. The printers, however, are the only ones I ever use. Experience has taught me that printing 5000+ pages a month will get me about 12 years of use - in a business setting. This printer was actually to replace a still-functioning printer; we just wanted to do away with ink and go with a laser printer instead, due to cost. Having faxes going directly to email allows me to check on them no matter where I am - no missing the important stuff! We also use that for scanning things directly to folders and to email out, so that we can send important documents to our accountant, other owners, plus some of our staff use it for personal matters as well. We also use the email-direct-to-print function for guests who might need personal things printed without the worry of a virus transmitting using other methods. I've used other HP printers with these same functions, but HP sure got it right with this one - the older versions required knowledge about how to port emails out. Setting up this one required answering questions in the wizard, and I was done deploying it much sooner than expected - so easy that my mother could have done it. Setup is a breeze! In short, if you need maximum capability, long service life will a low per-print cost, and functionality that is difficult to find on other printers, this is the one for you.

If you don't need color within a printer a laser Jet printer is a great solution. A decent color ink printer pumps out on avg 8 pages per a minute where as a laser Jet pumps out close to 40 per minute. You can print like 12,000 pages before needing to replace anything. This particular HP is a bit pricey at its regular price but it's worth the money in features and quality

Great printer for remote office workers. This printer allows a remote office worker to have dependable printing as well as ability to scan when needed. Excellent choice for high quality printing in office or remote offices. We have had for nearly a year and have had no issues.

Im so happy to have this in my home office. It does more than just make great laser copies. Seemlessly makes documents sent from my phone, email, text. It scans documents to my email or the the cloud. I ended up purchasing adding a second tray and the install of the extra tray was so very easy. Works really great!!!!

got this for doing tax returns in home office - fast, easy to use - use the print and copier functions, have a dedicated scanner for scanning, so no opinion on the scanner. the replacement cartridges are reasonable and easy to put in - got this to replace an ink jet which was insanely expensive to refill. actually bought 2 of them, very happy. almost as in many ways good as the office printer, which was 20K

Fantastic Printer! Easy to use easy to set up. This printer is also easy to unjam if that happens. To place the Toner cart. Is easy too everything on this printer as a consumer is easy to get too. This does what you need it too. This prints very fast for the price. If i didnt have this printer my bussiness would have gone nowhere.

This little powerhouse is truly amazing, quiet and very fast. I am able to connect it to both desktop and work laptop on the fly. the print quality is great, and it works for my small business needs. I haven't tried to run it like a printing press, but it is able to push out quite a bit of sheets in seconds. Really GREAT BUY!!!

This is just a great multi purpose printer. Love the easy of using it and the quality of color prints. The WiFi feature works well and printing on front and back is finally easy with a printer that really doesn't have the duplex feature. The screen guides you through it. It's scanning computer app works well. Just wish it could scan with a little higher resolution.

The cost of these devices has definitely increased as as the demand with limited availability. BestBuy came through over all the other office supply stores and had one in stock. I moved from a Brother to this because it failed after 2 years of little use. I needed a laser printer that day and BestBuy had it. The HP is very feature rich, and the print quality is far better than my previous printer. Setup using the HP software is probably fine for most folk but I have a complex network at my home so had issues with it finding the printer. I hope this helps others but, if it fails to find the printer and you know your printer has an IP address, hit the Advanced button in the search screen (sorry, this is from memory). Then choose IP search. It was using some proprietary HP protocol and my network was blocking it. After setup, all functions and features work great. This is the ideal do it all for a small home office. Scanning is great and having duplex printing will save me on paper usage and maybe a couple of trees.

I'm very pleased with my new HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M428fdw all-in-one. Set up was pretty easy, even though an "old person" like me would still rather have a step-by-step manual instead of online instructions. Sometimes I had to take my best guess when it gave me options to choose regarding connectivity. All functions are easy to use and work well. The only drawback, and I knew this going in, is the price of the toner cartridge. I certainly don't look forward to that purchase. But since I run a small business from my home, a printer that offered fewer options or slower processing was out of the question. Overall, I am quite pleased and would purchase this machine again.

This all-in-one was easy to set up, and works wonderfully. It's exactly what we needed! It's important for me to stress to all reading this that this is a BLACK and WHITE printer. Not a color printer. That said, we don't print documents requiring color, which made this model the perfect, economical solution for us. This printer will save us hundreds of dollars.

I didn’t get a lemon! Loving the HP printer wi-fi that enables me to print from my iPhone, iPad and PC. Excellent printer and double sided works great. There were no color printers available, so I chose this one. It’s low noise and fast. Very easy to set up and use.
