This printer does it all...print, copy, scan, photos, fax, double-side print, and can use regular size paper and 8x14 paper. The quality of print is excellent as well as photos. It was so easy to set up and we can print from our smartphone and iPad. All in all, it is the best printer we have purchased and is easy to use. Great price too!

Great printer for the money. Has everything covered with print, scan, copy, fax features. Easy to set up.

I have not used the fax because I don't have a phone but I have not needed one. The scanner is great and so easy to use. the printer itself is easy to use and change the settings. The copies come out great. You can print from any Bluetooth device connected to it as well as feed a paper or lay one on the glass. It makes two-sided copies also.

This printer was purchased to replace an older HP all-in-one (print/copy/scan) that was having serious issues with ink cartridges (I would buy new ones and replace them, do very little printing, and a week or 2 later I would be getting low ink level messages). It came recommended by my brother as he & his family had just purchased it. This is again an all-in-one (print/copy/scan/fax) but since I no longer have a home phone I don't use the fax option. I scanned about 40 pages a few nights ago and I was happy to see the default size of the stored images was considerably smaller than the default size of scanned images on my older HP all-in-one. The Wi-Fi connection works great and I can print to this printer from away from home by sending items to the printer's email address. I still haven't done a whole lot pf printing yet, so I can't say this with any degree of accuracy but it also seems to be faster than my old printer.

Walked in asked for a good printer, the sales rep gave me a great printer. This thing is easy to use and does everything. The touch screen is great, setting up the network was easy, the printing is very fast, the ink tracking is a blessing, and although I haven't used the fax or scan features yet I have no doubt they would be great. This is simply the best printer I have ever had and is well worth the cost.

I have owned several HP printers in the past so I knew I would be purchasing another. I work from he so didn't need a lot of bells and whistles. It prints quietly and quickly. The witless feature is a blessing for other devices in the house. The only con is the size. I would had preferred a smaller footprint but it fits into cabinet. I have had no issues at all and have had the printer for about a month

The HP Officejet 5740 is a great all in one printer. It is Windows 10 compatible. It is extremely easy to use. I could never get the scanner on my other printers to work, this one is so easy and everything is self-explanatory. I love being able to print from all of my devices. It's just a great overall printer.

The printer is excellent! I love all the features and the fact that I can schedule printing. I like that we can pay monthly for the ink and never run out, the 4x6 photo paper tray and that we can email a pic or document directly to the printer. The wireless feature is great, we have all our phones, tablet and computers connected. No more fighting for the computer to print something :-).......

I love this printer, easy to setup and easy to use. My pictures turn out great, color is right on. This is only my third printer, but I like this one the most. It’s small, which is what I needed and it’s witeless.

The print quality is good and it is very quiet while printing. I like that it has a chime when done printing as it is so quiet you can't hear it if you are not in the room with the printer. I also like that it has wi-fi so it can be in a shared location.

Printer works great for standard printing, very fast. Super easy to set up and figure out. My only negative issue is photo quality.. The printer came with 4x6 photo paper so i tested a few pics and they all come out kinda dark. Maybe this is something i can fix in settings but i havent looked too far into it yet..

The printer was easy to setup & a breeze to use. We've since moved it to another location & network -- it was again easy to setup & use. Have really enjoyed having it. We really haven't used the fax functionality yet, but it's great knowing it's there. The printing, scanning & copying work well.

I am so glad to be able to copy, print & fax from the printer--have used these options frequently in a short period. Print quality is excellent. I was very pleased to see that a "real printed" booklet came with the printer. It was especially useful the first time that I had to use the fax option.

This printer was perfect for one of my clients who needed one compatible with her iPad and iPhone (computer too). She liked the ease with which she could print and that she didn't have to spend much money on it, since she is retired. All in all, a great printer for the $$$ spent!

We love the fact that it does everything - no need for another device to scan, etc. We have 2 computers and can use each one with the wi-fi anywhere in the house. Have printed a few pictures on it as well, and we were very happy with the quality of the color. It prints quickly, is quiet and efficient - everything we want in a printer/copier, fax and scanner.

I bought this printer based on online reviews, and I haven't been disappointed. Setup was easy. Print quality is very good, even in draft mode. Unlike my older HP printers, I've had no problems with paper jams. This is the first printer I've owned with a combo color cartridge, and I don't know if it's going to be less cost effective than separate cartridges.

PRO: The HP 5740 is smaller, lighter, and easier to us than the HP 8610 that I used to have. It requires only two ink cartridges vs. four, and they are easier to install. Like the 8610, it can print, scan, copy, and fax. For about $100, it was a great buy. CON: It doesn't take legal size paper. The paper tray holds fewer sheets than the 8610.

My old HP died and I picked up the 5740. It has performed great. Will print front and back if needed. Can put multiple documents in the scanning slot and shoots them in and then shoots them out. I could not ask for a better printer. Connection to my network was very easy.
