The set up was easy. It is quiet, the print is crisp and clear.

Great Wireless printer, very easy to setup. Only using wireless connections. Works well with smart phone, laptop, & iPod. Two sided printing also great, no manually feeding back into printer. Have not used scan yet. The color ink cartridge that came in the printer seems to be running out very quickly. Hope the replacement last longer!

I had a dell printer, the ink was expensive and it was really hard to use. This printer is pretty easy to use and set up. The ink is reasonable. The one thing I did not like is that it did not come with a cord to connect to PC so if your wifi is down, so is your printing.

Works great. Easy set up. Wireless printing from PC, Ipad and Android phone works great. Even comes with an email address so anything sent to that address get printed. If you have an email with an attachment just forward the email to printer's email address and everything get printed.

When I needed to upgrade my last HP printer after many years of faithful service, I took a look at what was on offer. The Officejet 5740 seemed to meet most of my needs, so I decided to take a chance on it. So far, there are a lot of features that I love about it. For starters, I feel like it's using quite a bit less ink compared to my older Officejet. However, compared to other printers I have used at work and elsewhere, sometimes the mileage one gets out of HP ink cartridges is a bit spotty compared to the other major players in the market. The additional side panel that you can flip open to hook in different media so you can print files and pictures is a wonderful addition, and I do have to say that the wireless capabilities of the printer so far have not disappointed in the slightest. I wish I could comment on the quality of the faxing capabilities but, sadly, I have been unable to utilize that function as of yet. It's mostly because of my own unique phone line problem at home rather than the printer itself, though, so that should not be taken into account. The scanning quality is fantastic, and the feeder system works just as well as it did on my older model. Quite frankly, it's a very worthwhile addition to any home, in my opinion.

The printer was easy to set up and use, using a USB cord. Still haven't gotten the wireless to work. I haven't really needed it so haven't spent more time than my initial attempts. Prints fast and clear and scanning is easy

This printer is versatile and user friendly. I was able to get it online and connected to wireless and printing using my mobile and Windows computers with relative ease. The printouts are fairly good quality, and the HP Instant Ink program was a real draw for the printer.

We bought this printer because of the positive reviews, despite it being similar to the one we got rid of because of the poor color print quality. This one has not disappointed! Pictures print great onto plain paper. Have not tried photo paper yet though. This printer was easy to set up. Scan feature also works great.

The best option with this printer is the HP Instant Ink replacement service. Ink is available via mail as it is needed. The reason I purchased this printer is the ability to print passport photos. The printer paid for itself. There is one problem I've noticed, the paper jam light comes on and there is no jam.

I purchased this printer in the store - at the online price - and took it home and hooked it up - by myself - without any help. I just followed the directions and it was ready to go in a short time. Print, copy, scan & Fax all work just fine. I have had it for about 1 month and have not encountered any problem.

I bought this model for the picture capability. The picture quality is fairly decent, the same quality as you would get from a kiosk at the drugstore. Printing of everyday documents is great. It prints quick and is easy to use and set up.

because of the large selection at best buy, I had lots of options. I choose the HP 5740 because it was the smallest and most versatile for my use. the salesperson was very helpful too. it looks very nice on the self. very easy to set up.

This wireless printer was easy to install on all three of my computers. It replaces a Canon which was horrible and a Dell before that which was horrible. The print quality is very good. Ink is easy to install and have had no problems with it at all. We use this printer for personal use but print everyday.

this printer is great! It's nice to not have to go and flip pages to print on the other side. Very convenient if you need to print something from your phone. Scan and copy qualities are very good. This printer is great, no complaints!!

I do not print very often but needed a wireless printer for my home. This printer prints pretty fast and love that I can print right from my iPhone or iPad. Received my first shipment of Instant Ink. The process for setting that up was a little more involved than I preferred but all in all it has been super convenient!

What a great printer at a very fair price! I love the wireless feature and it's perfect for working at home. Also, the replacement ink is reasonably priced--something you might not think about when initially purchasing a printer.
