The 1st black insta ink cartridge that came with the printer failed after three weeks--called HP--they said just remove it and the printer would print just fine off the color cartridge. It did and expressed mailed a new cartridge.

Turns out that the ink is HP instant ink jet . Lucky for me I had purchased back up ink! Geek squad set up person said he would contact HP regarding the ink problem but I never heard from him on the problem.

Great printer if you can figure out the networking

Also, getting it to print the first time is hit or miss. And I haven't been able to get the eprint to work thus far. But it is generally a good printer

Best HP instant ink printer

Printer works great!! I've been printing games and posters for my class and ink is lasting for awhile! Definitely consider this printer if you are interested in the instant ink program!

Never run out of ink. I got the printer in a bundle deal with my pc, and it came with $120.00 ink gift card The printer was less than $120.00, so They Me An Offer I Could Not Refuse.

Only complaint is that it is a little slow, but not one of my primary needs in a printer. Signed up for the instant ink because it came with a $120 credit, so it is essentially paying for itself. Great product!

Wonderful Printer

I am a teacher ans it is amazing and I have printed so many things for my classroom so far. It's so much nicer to be able to print in color than just have everything in black and white for my classroom!

Easy set up. No problems

With last printhead replacement, there were problems with the printer itself, so I replaced it under warranty with this one.
