I am a freelance graphic designer who has been using an Epson Workforce 1100 to print 13 x 19 (Super B) posters for clients. My Epson and my Canon PIXMA IP6220D(I use for high quality photo prints) printers died on the same day, both gave me 8 years of great service. The problem now was to find a single printer that could print 13 x 19 while also giving me high quality photo prints. I did my online research and found this model, the HP OfficeJet 7100, to perfectly meet my needs. The 7100 is about the same size as my Canon which is nice since the Epson was a behemoth! Unlike my previous HP printers, the Cyan/Magenta/Yellow ink cartridges are individual ones now, not the all-in-one color, which is why I switched to the Canon and Epson 8 years ago. Now when one color runs out, I only have to replace THAT cartridge, not the entire thing, still full with the other colors. The poster prints come out clean and crisp with edge to edge printing on 13 x 19 paper. My photos are just as beautiful as they were from my Canon. This is a great printer! Oh, I was also pleasantly surprised to see HP is also finally supporting Apple's AirPrint technology (instead of their own proprietary version), so now I can print from my iPad or iPhone anywhere in my house. (My wife really loves this feature!)

I like this printer: the reviews I read on it we're good. I just didn't realize it was going to be as big as it was. I didn't check the dimensions when I purchased it . But I had room for it next to my computer.

We've tried several different wide format printers and this one seems to work the best for printing on vellum and transparencies.
