For the price of this printer it should come with a battery! It does print nice, and everything works good. Having to spend an extra 140$ for battery and charger, really irritated me. But I needed a portable printer for my business. I do recommend this printer, but plan on spending some $.

This printer is small and completely inconspicuous in my living room. It is my ancillary printer to use when I am in the living space rather than my home office (I work from the home). It has never malfunctioned in more than a year of use, is quiet and fast, with good print quality, and always feeds paper well. At first I thought the cartridge emptied quickly but I used it for 2 months after the "low ink" indicator came on before the cartridge actually ran out. I got plenty of pages out of the cartridge. My only disappointment is the price. Size was more important to me than price for this purchase so I sprang for the $250. However it has become my favorite printer (out of 4 in the house).

The printer is 10 months old, need to replace ink service module. Trouble shooting manual says that this is a "replaceable" part. Called HP with the part #, they don't make it available to the public and couldn't give us the name of any vendor to buy it from. Found one vendor that would sell us a "refurbished" module for more than the cost of new printer.
