I do like the size and speed of this printer. However, it goes offline quite a bit, including during print jobs and ends up printing multiple copies of the same docs when it comes back online. I have to run the diagnostics more than I would like. I wouldn’t recommend this for someone who prints a lot of materials, as I only print a handful of items a week.

It was easier to set up than I thought it would be. It prints clearly and quickly. I really like this printer.

I thoroughly enjoy this printer and the AMAZING deal I got purchasing it. I decided to make a scrapbook of a recent trip and also needed a printer for school work. As I browsed Bestbuy I found this one on sale for a very good price. I tried comparing others but with the photo print and fax options combined with print speed and double sided printing there was nothing to compare! Very pleased with my purchase and my photo print quality.

Bought this and the automatic ink resupply. Great ease of set up. Great printing and easy wireless printing.

This printer is fast and it prints great. I have never had a printer set up this easy.

Have not used all the capabilities of this machine. However, a couple of things that are noticeable: It is very fast to print. My old printer seemed to take forever to start printing. This one starts printing with little or no hesitation. Bad things: Uses different ink cartridges than my old machine. Once I set it up for FAX, that became the default print whether I want it or not. Have to go back and change it every time I want to print.

I find this printer extremely friendly to manage. It provides reliable and fine printing materials.

I had been searching for an all-in-one to replace an older HP unit that had wifi connectivity problems. The old unit would have to be power cycled every time I wanted to print from my laptop or ipad. The 6978 is a fantastic machine. It has great print quality for documents and photos. The wifi connection works as it should. I have not had to restart the printer in the month I have had it. I like the printer so much, I bought two more as Christmas presents for my family.

This product for the price had an easy setup and was easy to set up wireless printing on my devicess.

Excellent printer and does not jam paper, prints well, color is perfect and cartridges easy to install.

We have had good experience with our old HP All-In-One laser jet -- the thing lasted much longer than any other printer we've had so we have high hopes for this new model. Setup was easy. Printing works well. Have not actually tried faxing yet. Scanning works, though if multiple people are logged on the the laptop it fails -- annoying. If the printer has not been used in a few days, when you go to use it, it will be asleep, then waking it (by pressing home button) triggers a long and noisy "self maintenance" cycle. Very annoying. Recommended, but just barely so.
