I recommend this wireless printer, scan, copy, fax is a very good complement for small office and home.

When the Hp 6978 is great when it works great. However, when you start to get streaking and blank spots and you do all the maintenance to fix the problem and it doesn't work, the 6978 is awful.

I love the easy of use including the scan and fax. Being wireless is very convenient.

I have had HP printers previously. I purchased an HP printer again because of past experience and recommendation of the sales person. It works beautifully and I am satisfied.

This printer was very easy to install and prints copies very quickly. Awesome product

The printer is great, it can print and scan double sided copies. The only thing that has happened recently is that it keeps getting stuck when I'm printing double sided worksheets.

Setup was quick and easy. So far, has produced on every print job. AirPrint and Windows.

Arrived quickly. It's a descent size.i upgraded to this because of the fax.it copies two sided too!

Printer was so easy to set up, my photos came out very nice, and print speed was decent.

Very pleased with this printer. Replaced an older HP printer that still worked fine, but did not have wifi support for my Android smartphone or iPad. After sale price, trade-in discounts and BestBuy rewards, printer was less than a full set of new ink cartridges for the old printer. Quality is great and the integrated 2 sided feature takes up less space than the older model with same features.

This was purchased to replace an Officejet Pro 8500. It has a noticeablly smaller footprint, both on the desk and in height. I avoided the subscription ink plan; my overall printing has been reduced as I download docs or scan docs to PDFs, and the plan wouldn’t be cost-effective. After a month or so of use, I would recommend this for personal/home office use. I don’t know the duty cycle stats to recommend for office use.

We had to purchase a replacement printer/scanner when our HP5700 series decided to plug up it's black cartridge port and we were unable to get it to clear. So we reluctantly picked up this HP6978. Pritnting so far is ok. However we have found the scanner to have way less resolution than our old machine. I printed a number of e-tickets where I actually was concerned they might not work at an entrance handheld scanner (they did work this first time). I should add that the clarity was not limited to printing, finer print on documents we were scanning for e-files were nowhere as sharp as we have been use to. We have been unable to correct this by changing any settings, have'nt yet turned to HP for help though. Should I find a solution, I'll update this review - keeping fingers crossed but not very confident in a sharper resolution. If needed for scanning, think twice/research further in case I'm wrong .
