I needed to replace my current printer and wanted one with auto duplex scan and copy using the ADF. The 6978 is packed full of useful features in a compact size for an Officejet Pro. When my older HP 7520 began having issues and finally got to the point where I could no longer stand waiting and waiting for things to print, I walked into Best Buy to purchase a new inkjet printer. The sales associate saw me looking at printers and came over to see if I needed assistance. I explained my needs to him and he recommended the HP6978. It meets my needs (approximately 100-150 2-sided pages each month), but I kind of wish that the printer didn't spit pages out on the floor. My old HP printer didn't do that. Other than that one issue (and I keep a drawer open under the front of the printer and that takes care of most of the spitting issue), I am very happy with my new printer. It was easy to set-up, and the wireless printing function works seamlessly.

Great printer for the price. Prints very quickly and super easy set up. Only dislike is sometimes you have to turn the wifi on and off on the actual printer for your iPad etc to find printer and AirPrint. But other than no issues!

Very pleased with this printer. It fits well in our office and is easy to operate. Nice efficiency for a home office printer. Reasonable printer cartridge replacements. Enjoy scanning option as well.

Fantastic wireless printer easy to use and clear prints

My HP all in one is great. It was easy to set up, makes great prints/copies and it is pretty cool with the wireless app on my iPhone I can send pictures straight to the printer and get great prints. It's so simple

This printer was a Christmas gift from my husband. We had a printer but I was dying to get an air printer to use with my iPhone. This product is the answer to my prayers! It was easy to set up, the air print works perfectly, and it scans items quickly and efficiently. I like the ink refill program that is available to assure you never run out of ink. The price is good for the ink too. I was also pleased to find out I can print documents while away from home so they are ready and waiting when I return. Perfect for when you're in a rush but forgot to print that restaurant coupon so you can just swing in and pick up your coupons and away you go! The print quality is really good. Would recommend for anyone who is looking for a wireless multipurpose printer.

Have to say this was recommended by the Best Buy associate who reviewed options for me. Basically I just needed a reliable printer and copier for a second system in the house. It does everything I need, is wireless and therefore easy to install and was excellent value - especially if you add in the current deal on replacement ink.

One of the best printers we have had as have all the HP printers been.

We needed a printer that was wireless and scans documents and this wound up being the perfect printer. It's also not too big and we can move it into a drawer as needed.

I bought this HP printer to replace my aging Canon. I've had previous experience with HP printers in the past. Nice evolution! Set-up was a breeze and in a matter of minutes I was connected through my laptop, android phone and the family apple iPhones. The response is quick and the colors vibrant. I haven't tried photo printing yet. I also like the HP instant ink program and its various options; works perfectly for my family. Happy with my purchase.

I admit that I am already biased toward HP products but I am very pleased with the operation of this printer. I looked at printers from all brands and this one seemed to meet my needs the most. Installation was easy but I got very irate when the set up process seemed to be forcing me to sign up for their ink replenishment system. It said you can get up to 50 percent off on the cost of ink but I couldn’t see were it said exactly how much you got off. I finally closed the install window and luckily found a way to proceed with the installation without buying their ink. It didn’t come with a user manual but I guess that is typical of most electronic gizmos now days. There is one available online. The reason I am only giving it four stars is the ink purchase stuff I ran into during installation and I would like it if the control panel screen was a little larger as I have fat fingers and not real good eye sight. I would recommend this printer to anyone for home use or light to medium office use. By the way, the ease of the wireless set up was great. It was easy to access the printer from my desktop windows pc, iMac, iPad and iPhone.

I was looking for a printer that would accept heavy business card stock. This printer readily accepted the stock with no difficulty. The colors are crisp & clear with no smudges. Using the scanner was easy to set up and provided clear PDF and photo files. All in all, this is an excellent printer/scanner for a home office.

Bought two of these. One for myself, the other for my mother for Christmas. Easy to set up, works great wirelessly, and print quality for documents and PICTURES is excellent!
