Works great for my home office!! Prints, copies,scans and faxes documents! An all-in-one printer!

I was looking for a printer that would allow me to print large volumes of paper in bursts. As a teacher sometimes I need a back-up plan when the school printers and copiers fail me. I would have liked the next printer higher up in the chain, as it gets double the pages printed per cartridge, when compared to this unit, but it weighed double the amount and I did not want to move it! This unit is about 3/5ths the weight of the other printer. The only real downside is you want to sit it on a non movable surface. If you put it on a bookcase or filing cabinet or anything that has any give, the printer vibrates more than is desirable.....so I moved it! This was not a problem I have had with any of my preceding five Hewlett-Packard printers over the last 30 years, but on this particular unit it's was very noticeable, evendors when placed in its predecessors location. This printer only cost $15 less, than the fancier, but more efficient unit, however, since I have to move it in and out of my classroom each summer, the weight is more important than cost of the ink. I've only been using the printer about 3 weeks now but so far I'm very happy with it. I've used it to print out a large amount of the beginning of the year type of school paperwork and about 250 pages of college information and documentation paperwork and it has done a beautiful job. I prefer to buy my cartridges so I did not participate in their ink replacement plan after researching it I discovered that for my usage purposes it would not be the best plan for me.

We bought this printer along with the lifetime ink deal. Couldn't be happier. The HP print app allows us to scan docs with our phone, compile to PDF and print remotely (to the office). Easy setup. It will not show up in google print even though the box says it should.

I needed to replace my HP 6500 series and was trying to find a printer that was similar to that one because it suited my needs. So far, this printer has been no trouble at all. I can print to it from every room in my house (which I couldn't do with the 6500) and I like the updated features of printing from my phone or scanning directly from printer to computer via wifi. I haven't printed any pictures, so I can't comment on that. Easy set up, good print quality. So far, I am happy with my purchase.

We are very happy with the quality & speed of printing. We use this printer for business & personal projects. Be aware this printer does not have an internal fax number as the previous same model number did. That is the reason why we are giving it a four star rating.

Wow printers have come a long way. Inexpensive printer but packs a big punch for a home printer. Ability to copy, fax, scan, etc.....and compact too.

HP has exceeded its mission in downgrading its products. This is the only printer they offer with double-sided scanning. I had an HP 7100, a very old model, that scans were way better than this new printer. The only good thing about this printer was the price.

I was hesitant to get another hp printer after the photosmart that I last bought and rarely used, only lasted only a little over a year when the scanner suddenly stopped working. But after looking at countless reviews, I decided to give this printer a try- after all, it was just released this year and I've yet to try the officejet series. I've only had it for a little over a month and so far, it's worked flawlessly. I did purchase the extended warranty for just $10 just in case I have issues with this printer after the first year. Set up was easy and it prints quickly and smoothly thus far. Works with all my apple products. Haven't had the chance to try the fax feature yet, so hopefully it won't let me down.

Excellent printer, Extremely easy to set up easy to use easy to connect to and use wirelessly. Prints very well from external devices like iPads or phones.

So far so good. All functions work fine, print quality is good. Haven't tried faxing, but I don't use it anyway.

Printer is plug and play no software to load just started printing. Pages printed are good quality. Scanning is simple. Love the HP ink subscription

The first one I purchased had a manufacturing defect but the size was terrific and swapping it out easily. Color is good and it is easy to use

I had been going through Epson printers like crazy. This one seems much more reliable and very sturdy.

I needed a new printer because my old one was not compatible with my new internet providers wifi equipment. I always used to get another brands printer but I saw so many positive reviews for this one. Set up was easy and I this printer out performed the other brands printer. I wish I had bought this one years ago. it makes my life so much easier to be able to print. it is so easy my kids can print from their devices to it. highly recommend this brand and this printer.

Purchased for a family member. He uses the printer over WiFi for the multiple computers in his home. He also used the fax feature that worked great for him. He didn't think he would ever fax another document from his home, but glad he had the capability.

We have had HP printers in the past and have always been satisfied. The last printer we got was not an HP and 2 years later we are replacing it. The printer took 5 minutes to set up and we have printed photos and a Xmas letter and the quality is great.

This printer does all I need, but it was simple to install. Maybe it's the technology, but in years past installing a printer on my home network involved setting arcane preferences that rarely worked the first time. This was easy - a few steps with no snags.
