Easy setup, quality prints. Copy speed is moderate-fast. Scanning large stacks to USB slow-moderate speed. Overall, a good workhorse printer. I've purchased 5 for the office staff.

Purchased the OfficeJet Pro 6978 to replace my OfficeJet Pro 6968 which died due to printhead failure. I hope this printer lasts longer! This printer is operating well and prints well. I was glad I had the 2 Yr Replacement Policy on the old printer. I had signed up for the HP Instant Ink program on the old printer and signed up again on the new printer. It is a great program! Greatly reduces your cost of replacement ink.

Mostly used for school, prints fast and wirelessly. Setup was easy, and didn't need to install on PC.

Easy to set up, but the website would not let me enroll in the auto paper option. I will need to try it later, but it did not impede me from getting printer operational quickly.

I have able to print any and all my paperwork with no problems. Print is clear and very quick even when printing double sided.

Nice size and super easy to set up for a not tech savvy person! I like that it is black and not white as most options are. Price waa right for all the options. Bonus it uses the same ink my last printer used as i has just bought all the colors.

I am currently getting acquainted with my new HP OfficeJet Pro 6978. It's an all-in-one printer, just like my HP OfficeJet Pro 5740, and it does allow for a much more generous load of copy paper, but I do prefer the 'output-tray' on the older 5740 model, which was simpler and sturdier.

Needed a replacement for my venerable HP 2610 all-in-one printer and this model quite ably fit the bill. With the upgraded wireless technology and Instant Ink program, it was a no-brainer. Easy set up and alignment. Impressed by it’s quiet operation and smooth networking across several other devices. Well worth the price, which BB was willing to match as well as give me a credit for recycling to old printer.

This HP all-in-one printer, copies, scanner, fax as a replacement for one last during Hurricane Harvey. The new one ease of set up was great and the HP performs very well.

I have several staff members who work remotely from home and all have this printer. They are user-friendly and rarely if ever have paper feeding issues. Good little printer if you aren't doing high volume printing. We all appreciate the flash drive port option and it nicely fits on top of a file cabinet. If you work from home or have a tight workspace, this is a nice option.

After several months of use the OfficeJet Pro 6978 wireless printer is great for the home or small office. Setup is very easy and connects to home wifi quickly. Everything works once setup is completed and is very quiet. And home delivery of printer ink is very flexible in price. No more wasting ink and paper to re-calculate and align printer heads when powering on like prior HP OfficeJet printers!

Initial reaction is very positive, have had for about 2 weeks to replace an HP Envy 114. This one is not as solidly built as the old Envy, but still performs very nicely. Ink is easy to change, feeding multiple copies through for copying is nice feature, and print quality is very good, Easy set up and works better with network than the old one. Very happy with this All in one printer.

Needed a multifunctional printer for my home office. This one fits perfectly. Love that it prints on both sides and saves time and paper. So far this unit has been great.

This is a great printer, the set up was easy and printing is the snap. I do highly recommend this printer to anybody for a home/office or small business for simple printing use. I would not say it's a work force printer, however it is a great printer. The prince pretty fast and the color and black-and-white photos come out really well. I highly recommend this printer to any friend or colleague. For the price, it cannot be beat.

I like this printer but it is a little loud during initial start up. Works well for what I need it for (scanner, printer). I do not use FAX so I can't speak to that subject.

I WORK FROM HOME AND FINDING A GOOD PRINTER TO FIT MY NEEDS FOR A GOOD PRICE IS HARD. THIS ONE THOUGH WAS PERFECTLY PRICED AND DID NOT LOSE OUT ON ANY ADVANCED FUNCTIONS.

Was able to install wirelessly on two Laptops, with Windows 7 and Windows 10. However, because HP does not allow wireless for Vista, we tried using the supplied CD, which was supposed to allow it on USB. Did not work. Contacted HP support, on telephone, and she was also unable to install it on our third and fourth Vista Laptops. So, ain't working as advertised. No way to get HP to help, so far as I can see.

Purchased for use in a school environment. Unfortunately, due to restrictions imposed by the school/district, the printer cannot be connected directly to the web and so had to bring a personal laptop to be able to use it, but when connected via usb to laptop it works great. Just haven't been able to test the conencted features and can't use the instant ink feature.

Above average print quality and great print speeds make this printer good for low-volume printing, especially when used with HP's Instant Ink service. Software is just ok.
