My brother-in-law recommended this printer (he has the same model following his extensive research). It has many good features, and was easy to set up by myself.

Replaced my older HP photosmart for better print quality, cheaper ink, and faster prints. HP really makes quality printers and I am not disappointed. Recommended.

Good older design printer that replaced my original 6978 which I had alot of trouble free use on. Perhaps not as fast as the new design printers, but performs the printing/faxing/scaning/copy well. Have not had issues with paper jams on this model also.

Is printer is head and shoulders better than any printer I have used. It easily interfaces with W10 or IOS. Makes printing from distant rooms easy and dependable

Had to trash Canon Pixar junk after 18 months...The print is flawless including photos - it still has the cartridges it came with. Controls are most intuitive.

Easy set up, with no glitches . Easy to understand directions and on line tutorial. Printer has its own built in tutorials, fax works print quality is very good. Ink is a little expensive but available through third party sources. Print in draft form does not consume too much ink, then best quality when necessary. Loading paper bait cumbersome but not that bad.

I love the HP Smart Print app and the options that it gives that expands what's available on the control panel of the printer. The printer is quiet and prints quickly and does a good job with day to day printing. Removing a star because I was disappointed in how it printed a photo I wanted to print from my computer. I got best result when printing it from the Smart App, but still had horizontal lines. The Epson this replaced did a better job in that department, but will play with this, maybe there's a trick to it. All things considered, I love the printer and I'm glad I don't print a lot of photos, that would be a disappointment.

I bought this printer after my old one died in hopes of it becoming my all-purpose home office printer and it does everything I need it to. Even though it will get everything done and done well, it's a little slow. I can handle slow so it doesn't bother me, though if speed is one of your priorities you might want to look elsewhere. Scan to email has been invaluable to me. My only real problem is the size of the PDF's when I scan in a 20+ page document. It seems like it scans everything at a high-dpi, high file size image and then splices them all together into a PDF. a 3-5 megabyte document from my super high-end office printers is 20 megs on this one,which causes problems when a lot of people I am trying to email have programs in place to bounce 20+ meg files. I am hoping I am missing an option to lower the file size, but I've looked and not found it. Other than that, if you're not scanning 20 page documents, it's great. Wifi-ready, able to download apps, scan to email, web based printing... It does everything and for the price it's fantastic.

Think the movie office space and the printer scene...That was me and my last printer. This one is awesome! I finally found a printer I don't want to destroy.

This printer has to be the easiest most painless to set up and use printer that we have ever purchased. It took longer to remove from the box than what it did to hook it up to our computer. The wireless feature works painlessly. We literally had it up and running wireless in less than 10 mins. And it prints beautifully. we highly recommend this printer.

Printer is new, so I haven't used it much yet. It is a great size for my computer cabinet. Attractive, works correctly, has all the features that I need.
