I bought this as a replacement for my 7-year old 6600. It's great! I didn't realize when I bought it that it prints duplex, so I don't have to mess with the paper to print on both sides...what an awesome surprise!

I use this printer for my small business and I don't have to print that many things for it. However, pretty much every time I have to print more than 3 pages at a time, the printer jams. I clear it, and then it jams again. I clear it, and then it freezes so I have to shut it down, and it freezes so I have to unplug it. When it restarts, it has to go through a maintenance process. It takes me so long to print anything... and this happens over and over again. Getting to my patience limit with this printer.

It is good.Not great.This purchase never materialized .It was supposed to be a replacement under my agreement with Best Buy. I am still using my original Printer office jet pro 6978 still experiencing problems,This is a discontinued model,and Best Buy was not able to find a reasonable replacement.I am told I can shop anywhere and Best Buy will offer a store credit of the original cost. That is ok with me,and be advised that I am able to get this model at Staples For half the price B.B. was asking for same model.If Staples has it,Why nopt B.B.? I am disappointed with B.B. .

I haven't used all of the features yet but seems to do a fine job in what I have used. Scanning, copying and printing is easy to do. I like that it will print on 8.5 by 11 as well a 8.5 by 14 too. It was difficult to find printers that had that option.

This is a good printer but uses ink like crazy. When I bought it it was supposed to get instant ink, but when I applied for the program was told it wasn’t part of the program even though it has a sticker on it stating you can get instant ink.

Got this at Best Buy and received a great deal of help from the service section of the company. Everything works well and is placed in a proper area. We had some minor difficulties but nothing major. We would recommend this item.

Printer works as it should. Don't like as well as my old Canon that this replaced. When first turn on printer it is very slow to warm up and be ready to print. Considering price paid and performance I am overall satisfied with it.

this is the same model previously owned which handles our specific needs very well. the new updated printer does a great job.

We are very satisfied with the printer we purchased, Hp - Officejet Pro 6978 Wireless All-in-one Instant Ink Ready Printer. The printer is very user friendly and impressed with the added features. Love the instant ink program and always having ink.

Nice and quiet compared to the older printer but just wish the paper tray showed the paper. It closes so we cannot see how much paper is left. The older one had it and we were used to that. We will get used to this too but liked the visual.

I love the ability to print from my phone, no more single sheet feeding to print on both sides and the ink replacement program is one less task for my busy lifestyle. This printer is also more eco-friendly with separate ink cartridges for each color.

Figuring out all the programs very difficult I did not get a book with instruction on how to change paper size, coping photo cancelling printer copies and so on. Printing copy is good.

Even though HP has a quick set-up app, this printer was not easy to install at all. After a very difficult install process, there were missing drivers for scanning. I had to contact HP support and still the printer did not work, so I had to return it. Also, this is a fairly large printer for a home set-up so keep that in mind.

This machine is the cadillac of printers and is worth the time to shop for it. With the Geek Squad backup guarantee it is all you need to add to your computer to have the best system money can buy. It saves money on electricity too.

HP printers do not have the quality they once had. I'm on my third HP printer in four years. The models keep changing and I'm stuck with unused Ink Cartridges (#61 and #62. Now I have to purchase #902 and it's getting very expensive!

Bought this printer when the rep was in the store from HP. Printer came with three months free ink. Took the printer home, used it for a few things and they sent an email saying replacement ink was being shipped. Great plan and great printer!

I love this printer. It does exactly what I want it to do. I am so glad I bought it. Have not had any problem with it.

great printer, definitely an upgrade to my old printer. it prints out way more before the ink runs low. I completely forgot how many pages it said on the product details but I can definitely tell it prints way more than my old one.

This replaced my old home printer that finally gave up the ghost after 10 or 12 years. I love the wireless capability so I can print from any device anywhere in the house. I'm hoping that it lasts as long as the previous HP printer.
