Loving my new printer. I was skeptical about purchasing because of some of the reviews. I'm glad I chose to proceed with purchase because it covers all my needs effortlessly.

In one sentence I can tell the ADF hardware just decided to stop working on the third day! I returned it immediately within Best Buy 14 day return policy and I happily have an epson. Now thank god It didn’t break on the fifteenth day after return period is over. Someone would have received some unhappy comments!! But I mean it’s what it is. All together I can say: a very cheap product!

I bought this printer for college so I could print in color without going to the library. It's not bad compared to other printers I've seen, but there is better in terms of photo quality. However, for $100, there's not much room to complain.

HP continues to make strides with their latest release of HP OfficeJet Pro 6978. This budget model printer delivers excellent quality for an affordable price. Ink cartridges are reasonable in price, and the printouts are solid. A++

I just wanted a printer to print both sides and Best Buy helped me with the more printer for the money, I could not be more happier with this printer. I wish all customer service of any departments be as good as Best Buy customer service.

Printer works OK. HP greed and gouging on ink cartridges is now a given, but motivates me to use another of my printers.

I got this printer because my old one quit working. It was also an office jet pro that lasted awhile. The only downside is the high cost of ink for the printer and these printers seem to only last about 2 years.

I have always had Kodak printers and believed in them. My Kodak printer finally went kaput and I decided to try this HP printer. It works great and to my expectations! It uses less ink then by Kodak printers did!

I like it but the plastic tray on the bottom where the paper goes seems a bit flimsy and I worry that it might break easily

Great printer, fell in love with it. Do more than I thought. Prints both sides. I needed that so much. The price is worth it.

Printer is fine... pretty typical HP product. Scanning feature is a bit balky and required (and on occasion still requires) a reload of the software. But I've always been able to launch the scanning feature from my computer - vice the printer itself.

Easy set up and use. Automatic Document Feeder sensor failure after a week. Unable to reset to factory original settings. HP Tech support was great. Spent almost an hour to trouble shoot. Received a replacement printer in less than a week. Received an alternate printer with lower tray capacity. Went from sleek black to the horrible HP colors. I was able to transfer the Geek Squad warranty to the new printer. Thanks BB.

Printer would not automatically shut off even tho set to do so. Contacted HP and they took control of the computer and said they corrected the problem. The printer will still not shut off automatically even tho the settings indicate it would.

Very pleased with this printer. Fast and 2 sided printing are great.scanning also works good.has been a great machine so far..very happy..

After another model returned because of problems (twice), I chose this one. Glad I did. No problems and am able to use it as much or more as I did before my old printer / scanner / copier bit the dust. Really like the features of this one.

Free ink and ink program. Awesome. Scanner need the ability to scan many as in multiple stacks of papers and the only drawback is it does jam when scaning more than 10 docs at a time but for the price totally worth it.

The printer would not print black ink, even after changing the ink cartridge supplied. So the store replaced the printer and set it up and now it works. I would recommend you have the store do this before you leave the store.

Not as sturdy feeling as my previous HP printer and the touchscreen isn't as large either. Overall, the product does what its supposed to and it was easy to setup. Would have given it a 5 if the material quality and screen size were better.

I purchased this HP because my Canon printer finally went kaput. There’s nothing special about this at all. I think it might be a little too loud when it starts up. Every time I print something my dog goes crazy because it’s so loud.

This is the second one of the same printer I have purchased. It works well for a printer, but obviously it does not have an infinite lifespan as this is the second one I am purchasing. Less expensive to buy new than to repair.
