This printer is great for home use. It's only drawback is after it hibernates from lack of use, it takes awhile for printer maintenance to complete it's steps before printing again.

So far so good! Great all in one that does everything we need. Love the HP auto ink program.

Product is working well. There was some contradiction between written and on-line instructions for set up which could be HP's issue.

Printer works well, I really like the instant ink feature. Soon as it starts to get low a refill shows up in the mail, and it's much cheaper than buying replacements or even generic ink.

I like this for the versatility and hp instant ink comparability. It does have a few glitches here and there, but what doesn't. It's been heavily used for about a year now.

Quick and sharp print jobs. Absolutely love the functionality for two sided prints. Easy to use. Bought this at a great price and would definitely recommend for home office/personal use.

It is noisy and drinks ink. It intermittently does printer maintenance without any warning. So if you have a print job you will have to wait. And, I believe it pumps out ink during this cycle. Also if you do not use the color inks frequently the nozzles stop up and it takes all three levels of cleaning to clear them which uses more ink. I went to Epson.

I researched HP printers since I have had good experiences before. This printer had good reviews, and was reasonably priced, so I purchased it. I have been very pleased with it.

These HP stand alone printers were Christmas gifts. Same model style as ours but upgraded. We can’t wait to hear about the auto ink feature that was gifted with them.

My other printer broke and I ended up having to get this one. It is made super cheap and the touch screen doesn't work so well. Not to mention I had to switch over to a different ink. Ugh.

The HP - OfficeJet Pro 6978 Wireless All-In-One is an excellent product for home use. It is dependable and a good value!

About to start a new business and waiting on the office to be finished before I can hook everything up. I haven't been able to use yet but I'm sure it will work great.

I thought it would print faster but I guess I was just use to the big printers at work. Only thing I don't like about this printer is the random maintenance update.

Printer would not power down via the switch. Had to unplug then replug to get to work.

Works well now. We had a lengthy period trying to get it set up wireless. Took it and our computer to Geek Squad and got it sorted out. I should have gone this when purchased. Very happy now..

have been spoiled by previous 2 canon printers. this one was one of the less expensive. works ok. slow & noisy. much larger. print not quite as crisp. got what i paid for. thought about returning, but just don't use it enough to be picky & pay more.

I had an HP OfficeJet before this, and was happy with it, so I just updated when it died. This version, HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 makes acceptable copies and has the nice extras like auto feed and scanning and fax capabilities. However, it takes longer to "heat up" than to make the copy, all the while making "scary" noises. The specifications listed the pages per minute for copying, but never warned about how long you had to wait from turning it on until it would make the copy! If I knew then what I know now, I would have probably picked a different one.

I have had two HP printers in the past. They have all been reliable and of good quality.

I am replacing my old printer with the same model. I ruined the last one with ink I bought online. It leaked and gummed up everything. Will be more careful
