This was a replacement purchase for an older HP Printer, it has newer functions; the ability to print offline from a mobile devise, it also connects to the internet

I went to buy minimum type copier. I bought this model and it is more than I expected and operates flawlessly. I can recommend this copier printer to anybody even family members.

Like this printer. Last one broke the printer head so got another one. Lasted past the warranty.

Decent printer if you primarily use it for printing documents (as I do). Printing of images/photos results in a poor quality, over-saturated end product.

It was time to upgrade our old HP printer and decided to go with the HP 6978. It shows up on my network, I can print from my iPhone and iPad, scans are quick and easy. Very happy!

Nice printer but loses it's IP address when you turn it off and you have to re-set it up.

Bought it for my parents house. My sister also lives there she set it up they loved it she was going crazy about it and all of the features and being able to print from email etc.

This printer is OK but I was disappointed they had many models on display but none in stock for sale. Salesman was not very helpful either. Not typical for this Best Buy location.

It is a good all in one printer, you get what you pay for it is always a great deal. When it is time for ink get the XL the regulars empty way to fast.

Have used this printer for almost a year and have had no problems. The Wi-Fi connected easily and am able to print from two different computers in different rooms.

I'm not a young person, so electronics usually have a very steep learning curve for me. But this one was easy to learn and it does things faster and better than the one it replace

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my parents. They are able to print from their phones and their laptop. Picture quality is good and text documents are perfect.

As always, these printers are awesome. Only reason for a new printer was because we ran the old one until we killed it. Went right back to HP for one reason: quality.

Good basic 4-in-1 printer for home office use, but not the best if you want to print photos.

I have always been a Canon Inkjet printer purchaser, but I think that i have found a competitor! This machine not only looks nice but it also runs flawlessly!

I really like my new HP OfficeJet Pro 6978. I especially like double sided printing, the copies are clear and sharp. The only thing I don't like is the high cost of the ink cartridges.

Needed a printer with a feeder on it so I can scan a batch of documents instead of placing on the tray each time. Worked like a champ from the beginning! Ink plan is a great added bonus.

I finally have a printer! It's a great printer, though I can't really compare it to anything else since I've went so long with a printer/scanner/copier. Love it.

Paper jams. When I first started using it, it had paper jams. I "fluff" the paper up before putting it in the tray and that seems to help. When printing several pages, it seems to grab 2 pages and print part of a page on one paper and the other part on the next paper. The only way to prevent this is to print on both sides of the paper. This is the first HP printer that I've had problems with. Not easy to set up with the computer. Won't scan as pdf. either.
