I had a HP C410A and that was a powerhouse so i needed something with the same functionality. This was the only printer that could meet my needs and within a month, I've been through 3 of these. My old printer was better but this will have to do.

A) It does 10-15 minute maintenance whenever you turn it on, or when you haven't used it for a few days B) Printing is significantly slower than my old Canon C) You can't scan to computer - even with HP Smart installed on my computer, and a cable connection, they can't find each other. D) Even if you put the documents straight into the scan feeder, all scanned documents are very crooked. E) It's an inkjet, so forget about highlighting any documents since they smear immediately. Granted, this one is on me for getting an inkjet, but again, no redeeming features. F) When it gets idle it often doesn't notices when I've sent a print job, and I need to stop and restart the print job multiple times before it figures it out.

I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the proper course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:
