complicated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this printer before Christmas. I was sold on all the great features and planned on using it pretty regularly. However, I have not been able to do so. While it is a good copier (and that's about it) I have had very little experience with the printing aspect because I have such a hard time connecting the printer to my computers. My computer recognizes the printer but the printer almost never recognizes my computer. I am currently trying to print something and under my wifi direct details it says that I have zero devices connected to my printer. I am not sure if I can return this printer this late or not but I am going to try. Maybe it's me, I will look for something not so complicated.

Not as good as Epson...
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an Epson Workforce printer I LOVED for like 5 years.....when it died, I bought this....less than two years in...sometimes it works...sometimes not....of course it's out of warranty. You can't take the printer heads out to clean them....I'm going back to the Epson brand. I don't recommend this printer.

too hard to get it set up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to call geek squad to get the printer installed as HP directions would not work. I had to call back two weeks later to get the scan function to work. Then a week later to get it to print from my phone. I think this is my last HP. it is irritating that my existing ink cartridges cannot be used even though they appear identical to the new one.

Worked fine Sat-came home Sun to frozen printer
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked up 2 of these on Friday - one for home, one for office. Spent over an hour on Saturday setting up one at home. None of steps that the setup showed looked like what I finally divined out on my own to get everything working. Set up instantink and everything seemed to be working fine. Came home Sunday night and saw "shutting down" on the LED screen. Pressed Home Screen button - nothing. Pressed power button - nothing. Unplugged, waited a minute, plugged in again. Screen came on with only the HP logo ~ still utterly frozen. By the way: no storms, no power outage ~ just a frozen printer. I'd be a fool not to take both printers back. I'll be buying a Brother.

Printer/scanner is good but software is bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The printer and scanner are fine but the WiFi interface has a LOT of problems working with their PC driver. If you do a google search you with find 1000s of problems with trying to get it to work. I finally got it to work by deleting some duplicate interfaces the setup software installed. But a lot of other people have other problems that they can't get fixed.

Hit or miss
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The initial printer wasn’t even capable of printing the test page for head alignment. Ink carriage jammed and would not move. Replacement printer was shipped in a reasonable time and has been working without issues so far.

Horrible Touchscreen
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this printer. It has really great features, however, the worse feature is the touchscreen. IT NEVER WORKS!! I had to find a pen with a stylus and even that is touch and go!! I'm so aggravated because I've been trying to use my printer for about 15 minutes and I can't because of the touchscreen!!
