I had a Brother printer, but the setup and connectivity was really antiquated. The HP is a nice upgrade. Very easy to operate. This is a good printer for general printing needs. I would not consider this a photo printer, but definitely a very good home-use printer.

All good except cartridge access

My only complaint is access to the print cartridges. Most printers have a door on the front with cartridges you push straight in. Ink access aside, I really like the addition of the extendable print tray. It was not available on previous models and you either had to let it all fall on the floor as it printed or stand there and take each paper as the print came out of the machine.

Great price for the quality

I exchanged it for this model which is a much better fit for my need and location. The Best Buy staff made it happen with ease.
