I like the printer but I that it was fax to no one help me at the store

I had to get a different type of printer. Never could get it to work.

The XL ink cartridges last a long time (and need to for the price). Great at scanning multidocuments into one pdf file. Only beef I have is not being able to scale down whatever I'm printing out. I can't find anything even in advanced setting to do something as simple as reducing the picture or shipping label to 80% size. If it weren't for that, I'd give it a 5 star rating. We have 5 different devices that print to it.

I've purchased several models of this printer from the 8600 to the 8630 and have had very little problems with them. So far I've ordered 10 of them and only one had a bad printer head, and HP quickly shipped us a new printer head and all has been well since. The newer models offer a internet savvy feature that will order cartridges if you sign up for the monthly replacement service. I haven't had any clients to opt into that yet, but I'd like to see how well it works. Over all, really good printer.

This is a great printer for home office use. It is very efficient when it comes to ink usage. I was pleasantly surprised at how long the ink cartridges lasted compared to our previous HP inkjet. We do a lot of color printing and the quality is great as well as the speed and ease of use of this printer. It's a well priced home run for HP and a great value for the busy home or small office.

When I ordered this online I overlooked the size of this unit. I was more impressed with it's capabilities, two-sided copying, etc. This printer is awesome! the led screen is also. I am way more pleased considering the price. It's rock-solid and very efficient. and for the price, it's off the charts!!!

We had the previous model to this and it pooped out and we didn't buy the extended protection and we loved it so much our only focus was on the latest version. Didn't even check others out. Great print speed, can send an email from my phone with any file I need to print, from anywhere I may be, to an e-print email I setup and it will print. There's so much functionality there's too much to go over in this review. You won't be disapoointed.

This review is based on beginning use so only time will tell how it performs long term, but no issues initially. Setup was a breeze (15-20 minutes including WiFi connection), wireless printing output is fast and machine is much quieter than my HP Photosmart it replaced. Got it at a ridiculously low price as an online special (picked it up at the store) but even at the regular sale price it's a bargain. So far so good.

I know there are a lot of reviews on here and this will not apply to most people, but I thought I would share that this printer works as advertised with Ubuntu 14.04. I got it setup with the HPLIP driver in about 45 minutes. I have only printed a few pages but so far so good

So far so good with this printer. Although I had one issue trying to print one page of a webpage from airprint where it spit out a bunch of blank pages. Not sure what happened, but I tried printing a picture instead from airprint and it worked fine for that. It is a bit bigger but the price was hard to beat. Good that it has duplex. The web connection is kinda cool. Setup for scanning was a little confusing but I never read instructions really and was able to figure it out after a few extra minutes.

When my old all-in-one printer died, I knew I wanted another HP. After checking the reviews, I settled on this one and so far, it has exceeded everything I expected. It's fast, quiet, doesn't misfeed or double pull pages...it's also very user friendly and super easy to set up. I'm very pleased with this all-in-one printer.

This is a great printer for my needs. For all those times I need to sign forms and scan them, printing those occasional documents we need, or being able to print them from my iPhone/iPad using air print, this all-in-one gets it done perfectly. The duplex printing works flawlessly, and the print quality is good (I do not do photo printing at home, the ink is too expensive and I can upload my pics to Walgreens and have them print photos cheaper.) Also, I do not need or use the fax feature, and I cannot speak to its effectiveness, but it is not 1995, and scan and email is more than enough for what I want at home. The printer itself is a behemoth and takes up a lot of real estate on the desk, but since it is wireless print, I hid it inside a closet so I do not even see it unless I need it. Set up was painless and it has worked without issue for the past month. I truly like this printer and reccomend it.

I have had no problems with this all in one printer since I bought it seven years. Meets all my needs and has been a valuable tool for work and personal use.

My old printer Kodak finally broke beyond repair. Back to HP, everything does what it suppose to do. Ink is not over priced and can be found anywhere. Double sided printing works great, scan feature does a very good job. Printing a photo is clear detailed and pretty swift. A very good all-in-one printer.

I had an HP 6100 that died and replaced it with the 8610. Super easy to install. Love the two-sided copying feature which I didn't have before. Works great so far. Always hate that you have to use all new ink cartridges since newer printers rarely use same ones as older cartridges. But prior HP lasted 10 years so no reason to not expect same from this one.
