My father-in-law bought the 8610 a few years ago on my recommendation. He prints EVERYTHING! His printer gets a real workout and I'm happy to say it works great. When I needed a new one, I decided to buy the same model. It had great reviews back then and it still has great reviews now. My old printer was limping along so I waited for the 8610 to go on sale. Eventually, Best Buy had it for half the list price, plus I had a $10 rewards check! What a deal!

I bought this to replace an aging HP printer and at only $99 with AirPrint, wi-fi, and a full duplex scanner/feeder it seemed to tick all the boxes. Setup was a breeze and its network connection is much more stable than my previous printer and it has integrated power management which the previous one did not. It's churned out plenty of pages so far and takes decent scans and works as a passable copier for big jobs. Overall, for the money imam hugely impressed.

Printer works really well so far. Printing is clear, colors are vivid. Printer is on the loud side though.

Only thing was it's much larger than I expected. Otherwise works just the way a wireless printer should. Even prints on weighted paper just fine.

This unit prints black and white very good and fast. Color photos ok but not great. Kind of a bigger printer. Easy to set-up wifi printing.

The day I purchased this printer, I was greated and helped out by Rodney who was a factory rep for HP. He was great in comparing this printer to others on display. After printing a few demo pictures from this device and comparing them to more expensive pictures printed from more expensive devices, he couldn't have made my decision any more easier. He even got me set up with auto ink plan and explained how this is the least costly way of getting ink.

I am a student in nursing school and print notes and assignments all the time. My printer was going down hill fast, so one night after about an hour of trying to figure out the issue I instead got on bestbuy.com and bought a printer that could do way more then I needed so I never have to worry about whether or not I'll be able to print an assignment. This printer is amazing, it's fast to connect to my computer and fast to actually print. Thanks!

Have purchased Epson, Casio, HP printers. HP's are easier to work with and hold more paper, but Casios provide better print quality (in my estimation) and more functionality for the same price. The same goes for this purchase - I bought a Casio MX922 a few months ago and should have just bought a second one instead of risking a buy with HP. HEADS-UP: this particular model of HP printer doesn't do double-sided scans...but the equivalent Casio does. Really? To get that one extra feature, you have to go up one model on the HP and pay $100 more.

This printer is very easy to set up and it prints a lot faster than my old printer. I highly recommend it!

Great printer, the main thing that makes this solid for me is the speed...I had an older HP all-in-one and it took almost two minutes to power on and print a single page. This one doesn't do that it prints almost immediately. Great colors and deep blacks and connected easily to my network and prints directly from my iPhone 6. All around great printer, scanner, copier, etc. the kids also really work this thing and it lives up with no issues

This product is everything I need for my home office. The print quality is good and it's easy to use.
