Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the Officejet Pro 8610's print quality, ease of use, and wireless functionality. Many appreciate its ease of setup and the inclusion of fax and scanning capabilities. However, some find the printer to be large, and a few note that it can be somewhat noisy during operation. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the negative comments regarding size and noise.

Although sometimes it seems to print slow, I still like it. I can print directly from my computer, tablet and cell phone. I can scan using my cell phone and it will scan directly to my phone. Of course that is as long true for the computer and tablet. I don't use the fax feature. It it quite large so it takes up a large area.

It was easy to install and has been easy to access via WiFi. I have two computers running windows 7 and windows 8.1 accessing it, with out any problems. The printer is a little large and bulky but it's working great. Very happy with the print quality of this printer.

I bought this printer because of the HP Instant ink offer, I print alot of stuff for business, and I was paying anywhere from $50-$100 a month in ink....so $10 a month sent to my house? Ka-Ching! The printer was an amazing deal, Originally a $200 printer, I got it on sale for $100 and it came with a $30 Best buy giftcard, so basically it cost $70. Set up was a breeze, so much easier than the canon wireless I also own. The canon wireless printing is iffy, usually I have to reboot my pc to get it to recognize the printer, but this one prints instantly every time I use it. An amazing machine at a fabulous price, with $10 a month for color and bw ink?? No brainer!! Would i recommend it to a friend??? I already have!

I had a HP Officejet J4580 all in one that STILL performed perfectly after 6 or 7 years of heavy usage! Not a single performance issue that warranted buying a new one, but GEEZ, I had to upgrade! Naturally, I stayed with HP Officejet all in one. With the 8610, I now have wireless, prints on both sides of paper, and it is just amazing! Now, it took me just a little bit to tweek the settings for "duplexing" (print on both sides), but after that, just amazing! It isn't the quietest but not an issue for me. Once in a while when printing a large powerpoint it will grab 2 sheets instead of only one. Maybe there is a paper adjustment on the TOUCH SCREEN :) that I don't know about yet, but I use standard paper.

I bought this for m Client's home office. Needed a Multifuntion Printer, Scanner, & Fax. Usually I am reluctant to buy an inkjet for office use as color printing needs are minimal, but this model had the best price per print, even over newer models. I also looked at similar priced epson and cannon models, and I chose HP because of the OEM options for ink cartridges, and for the most part, been working with HP printers for many years. Setup over the network both wired and wireless was fast and easy. Gives you the option to custom install additional programs which I like. Overall smooth install process on Windows 7 machines. Limited amount of use, but have not had issues. Fax works well, and print speed and quality for black and white is good. Again, this is an older model, but really solid overall and if you are not doing heavy printing or graphic output, highly recommend. Best Bang for the Buck!

After going through several other (brand) flimsy home office printers, I decided to go with a more robust printer. After reading several reviews I decided to get the HP 8610E. Fortunately Best Buy had it $100 off. It was so easy to set-up and install on all three computers on my home office network. This is a solid machine with professional grade fit and finish. The features and menu are very user friendly and easy to use. I'm very happy with the purchase and the printer!!

Setup was easy and quick. Send print jobs from my IPad, IPhone and computer. Pinter is quiet and smooth. So far no problems to report. The price of this printer was also the selling point.

Replaced our old HP 5600 that was really getting tired with this device. Easy set-up, we can print from phone or any other device and the Quality is great. Don't know about the ink usage yet, but it seems pretty good after three weeks.

I like the wireless printers because I can use my tablet or laptop and it prints pretty quickly. I also enjoy that it's an all in one so it saves on having to have a separate fax machine. I haven't had a chance to use the scan to email optin yet but I'm guessing it doesn't disappoint.

Really like this machine, good print quality, easy to set up, including wireless connection. Scanner works great, have had a couple of issues with feeder but I scan a lot so it could be user error. Like software package, especially character recognition / conversion to text.

I have not had the opportunity to use this printer a lot since we bought it, but it's a great machine to have around the house, especially for the price. I love being able to print wirelessly and to email documents to the printer. I also love the ability to scan a document and have it wirelessly sent to my computer, or to save it directly to a flash drive that I can plug directly into the machine itself. And I like having the ability to print double-sided. My two complaints at the moment are that on occasion some of the text has printed wavy on occasion, something that I have experienced with inkjet printers for as long as I can remember. Scanning from the document feeder is slower that I expected and much noisier than I expected. It makes me wonder if I should have spent the extra money on the more expensive models. But overall I think this machine is going to work out very well for my family's needs.

This printer does all the task as described (scan, fax, copy and print) without any issues. Except for scanning to e-mail need to install software on computer, this is still pending. Setup was simple. The only concern is the size for my desk could be a little smaller.

I was looking for a new printer when my old printer died. I was checking this one out and wasn't sure I'd like it, till I saw it work. The print quality is awesome, it does 2 sided printing, can hold over 250 pages and you can go wireless. This is perfect for both my home jobs, school and just for fun projects. I bought the instant ink refill program and really glad I did. The printer is a little larger than my old one, but works so much better. My favorite features are the amount of paper it holds and the 2 sided printing. My work has gone so much smoother since I got it! Thanks HP and Best Buy!

When my brand X All-In-One printer bit the dust I searched through the reviews to see which manufacturer was highly rated. Hewlett Packard came out on top. I checked for pricing and Best Buy had everyone else beat by over $50.00. This printer/scanner/copier is without a doubt the best home office unit I have ever used, beating out some of the larger models in our corporate office. The ability to print from anywhere in the world is a huge benefit for me since I am on the road almost every week day. Their support staff is excellent and I took advantage of the Instant Ink Program. You can't beat it.

I have not used this printer a whole lot since I bought it but the few things I've printed so far look good and it seems to work well. The only drawback is the size, it is rather large and it's a little noisy when it prints. For the price it was a good buy.

Needed a new beefier printer for my wife's work, had $50 in best buy rewards and it was on sale half price - no brainer for under $55. Easy install, much faster then my old Envy 4500 and with the Hp instant ink program much cheaper to run. Bigger paper holder much more convenient. Only down side is it is quite a bit larger than my old one. Two months in working great - even got a first free month of ink:)

This is my second HP 8600 series all in one. I really like this series because of the great printing, scanning and ease of use. My only problem is the print cartridges. They tend to cost quite a bit.

Plug and play, interfaces with the web easily and allows for remote printing. Don't use the fax, but scan to flash works well to email docs. The replaced a similar unit that we burned out in a year.
