I have had the printer about a month now and so far it's been great it prints a clear crisp copy and does it It quickly A few people complained about it being noisy but I don't find it any noisier than most ink jet printers it also copies fairly quickly and the automatic document feeder is a nice feature

I love this printer. It’s faster than the average deskjet printer. The quality of the print is great and it has several functions. I love the instant ink refill as well. It’s nice to not have to run out and buy ink. A very good investment for a home office. Highly recommend it.

I love this printer as I use it in my Home office for my business. All the features are easy to use. I was pleasantly surprised when my last printer died just 6 days after the extra warranty plan expired and Best buy covered it and gave me this one for free. Love this printer.

I have has HP officejet pro 8660 for ttwo years and still the best HP printer I had. I wanted another 8660 but it was unavailable so I bought office jet 8710. It has been as good or better in speed, sharp, and instruction for options. It is price at the cost of new set of ink cartridges!

Perfect for my home office! I did purchase the ink package and it’s a no brained , for a few extra bucks to have the computer communicate and send ink when it anticipates I need it gives me a real peace of mind for one less thing to worry about. Printing speed is up to par for my needs also

The fact that I can be anywhere in the house and print is wonderful. It prints beautifully and the colors are exquisite. You won't go wrong with this printer. Haven't used all the features that it has yet, working on it.

I would buy this printer again... Easy to use and set-up.

The HP Office Jet Pro 8710 is a good black & white printer and fast enough for multiple pages of everyday printing. The color is good for photos or logos. I haven't had any problems since I purchased it. I don't look forward to the expense for Ink. But there are few options when it comes to ink.

Very fast and on sale. I knew from using it at my parents' home on their Windows PC. I have a Mac, and it does sometimes lose network connection, which is frustrating, but I turn off for a while and start up and that seems to resolve the issue. That network connection issue is the reason I deducted 1 star. Other than that, this is a great All-in-One!

It works great so far. We've had Canon products for years because the ink was cheaper. More and more frequently they've be breaking down on us until we could not take it anymore so we switched brands. It prints great and fast, even from my phone. Also the set up is much easier than the Canons ever were.

This unit replaced an older model that failed after 3 years of home use. Much cheaper to buy this then to repair the older unit. Went with the HP Insta Ink Program and so far it has been good. Unit is good, but not ultra fast. Scanner works well and set up was a breeze.

I had just purchased a different printer elsewhere. and got Geek Squad to come over and install it. After two days, we gave up. It couldn't be done. So I then purchased the HP which I love. It has all of the features I need, and it runs great. I couldn't ask for anything more!

This is the best printer I've ever had. PDF functionality is the most useful for myself as a student.

This printer meets my needs for Home printing. The set up was fairly easy. Speed (PPM) is good for the price. Salesperson told me it used the same cartridges as my old printer, which I had just bought a new set. Not true! My fault for not checking ahead of time. Cartridge is one digit different and they look alike. Otherwise I’m happy.

Everything about the printer is just average. It specifies that it will handle heavier weight papers including cardstock, but it does not and will jam. It really does not handle any specialty papers or envelopes well. Don't expect anything but average from the scanner either.

My old HD-6800 series printer died on me. It served my printing and scanning requirements quite well. I was going to purchase something similar and saw the HP-8710 on sale. I went for it and was glad. It printed much faster with better resolution and looked to be more robust. For about $60 more than a similar 6800 series, it was worth the upgrade.

I like the printer. I don't like that HP is always trying to sell me on its ink supply program, when I'm low on a given ink color.

It has all the features and resolution I need for an excellent price when it was on sale. The printer itself has worked flawlessly since I've been using it. Shortly after installation my Windows 7 PC began to crash at least once a day. I can't say for sure it was the HP software but it does install a lot of bloatware at installation if you use the default.

I read multiple times online that the unit was noisy, so I went to the store for a demo, and I found that it isn't noisy to me. Sounds like a printer. I haven't done anything other than scan off the flatbed, copy and print but so far it's works as expected. My 8600, which I liked very much, died so I went with its successor. No issues for me. Recommend.
