I love the way it prints and meets all of our needs. Just a bit noisy when it does.

This printer was easy to install but would cut off the left side of any picture in a Word Doc. Even after working with HP support that updated firmware and drivers it still would cut off the left side. He had to set up the printer in Windows 7 and use the drivers for a HP Deskjet 6980 series and labeled it Word Doc Printing in order for it to work right. It also does not like some paper, seems to have more paper jams when using a rough paper. The smoother the better . At least it is easy to clear a jam with this printer. After getting past those issues the printer works great, we use it a lot. Faster and better that the HP 8500 that I replaced with 90,000 copies on it. This one does not stop and clean the print heads all the time.

This is a unique style that I like. Single sided paper will discharge with print down for privacy. It does handle paper differently than other HP printers (no more paper flying onto floor accidently), but it is easy to use and access everything. Includes character recognition, connects well wirelessly, can print remotely using its own email.

I found the setup relatively easy. After downloading the apps I was able to print from my wireless devices as well. Also an easy setup. I joined the HP Ink program that, based on my use, should provide significant cost savings on ink. Be cognizant of what you actually need to print and its a great program. Not sure I like the white as opposed to black model but that's all they had during the sale. Got a $50 Best Buy card with the purchase. In the end I paid around $110 for the printer. Haven't tried any photos yet. Don't expect these HP printers to run trouble free for several years without maintenance. Its like any equipment. Keep it clean, clean the rollers and regularly clean the heads. So far so good.

This printer is extremely economical and you might think it is too inexpensive for a small business but man is it awesome. It prints very fast, easy to network, handles all our scanning and faxing needs. I originally thought we might need this and a dedicated copier or fax machine but this truly has the speed. The built in ability to scan id cards is great. The ability to print directly from an attachment on an email if you are out of the office and someone needs something is handy. You can sign up for a plan that monitors your printer and sends the ink at 50% off when you need it. We are 100% pleased with this purchase.

This printer is fantastic. Speedy both side printing. Clear. I have used it daily approx 20 pages per day. Still has the original ink. Had it over a month now. Large screen so I don’t have to wear my glasses to see it. I appreciate the HP printers the most. I have had epson and brother as well and hp is the best!!!!

It is a pretty good printer, the speed and quality is very good for an ink jet printer. The capacity of the ink cartridge is better than the smaller ones in the home printer. I guess that is the one thing about this is it's size is not small by any means, it is a bigger foot print.

THIS PRINTER WAS EASY TO SET UP. THE PRINTS ARE GREAT QUALITY, AND PRINT OUT RAPIDLY, AND FAIRLY QUIETLY, COMPARED TO THE EPSON, THAT I WAS USING PREVIOUSLY. I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THE PRINTER, THUS FAR.

I have used many hp printers over the years, usually they say how fast and productive they are with me in disbelief. This one actually is fast. Single, double, its a nice print and goes quickly with large(100-150 prints) projects for me. The scanning and copying is always a nice bonus to a good printer.

My Brother multi-function printer died after several years of average use. Because it was prone to paper jams, I decided to look for another brand. I saw this HP - OfficeJet Pro 8720 at Best Buy, and it was on sale for $100 less than list price so I bought it because it had all the functions I needed and HP has a decent reputation for printers.

I ordered this printer online after learning my local Best Buy was out of stock. This is the first product I have ever ordered without physically seeing it before I purchased it. I have to say I am thrilled with this printer! Arrived on time as promised, packaging was perfect, printer is well protected. The printer setup could not have been easier. It has a 3 step pamphlet and the rest of the setup is continued online (it only gets easier from here). I also signed up for the InstantInk program HP/Best Buy offers. The setup for that was simple as well. I did a few test prints and the printer functioned flawlessly. So far this is by far the best printer I have ever purchased.

I purchased this for my office as a replacement of an older model HP all in one . This machine has been fast and efficient and exceeded my expectations. It was easy to set up and and has so many easy to access options. The machine comes with the basic setup instructions software CD and starter ink cartridges.I did have to download a operators manual because it does not come with the machine. I would recommend signing up for the HP Ink cartridge refill auto mailing it has saved me a lot of money and time at around 10 a month instead of the 95.00 + a month I usually spent on refills from the store. HP monitors your ink levels and sends you ink before you run out for a monthly fee

Easy to set up, just follow the prompts. When installing the software on your computer, use the full option, not the recommended or default, so that all functionality is installed. Scanning from a computer is really fast if you use the software on the computer to initiate the scanning. My wife uses the scanner from her computer without my help (she is a little technically challenged so that really speaks loudly for ease of use). Printing speed is excellent. The only problem I have with all these type printers is the ink cost/page. I do not understand how the high volume printers can be only a few cents per page for color and these smaller printers are so much more.

First, this thing is bigger than I expected, and it takes up a lot of room on my desk. Otherwise this machine is pretty good prints well and is not hard to use.

Our older 6830 died... both my wife and I have home offices and use 2 different printers, depending on the job load. Our 8620 has been a reliable work horse making it logical to upgrade the 6830 with the more robust 8720. We have 2 fabulous printers now that do what we expect them to :)

I am quite pleased with the HP Office Pro 8720 Printer. The set up and use right out of the box was straightforward. Though I found a bit of the instillation of ink cartridges the first time slightly confusing. But once past this hiccup, everything else has been smooth sailing. I think the scanning features are really very good. The quality of the final documents is excellent. It produces documents very quickly and in decent volume with little difficulty. Had it not been for a bit of trouble, though nothing painful, about the initial set up, I would say 4.5 stars. I am very happy with the product.

This printer is an amazing value, pictures are clear and color is great, text is amazing but the best thing about it is the price. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect five-star score is on startup it makes a real rumbling sound that's a bit annoying, other than that I would say this print printer is perfect.

This printer has been excellent for us. We print around 100 pages per month and also use it for its scanning capabilities. We shopped around and researched the other printers available, and this one continually grabbed our attention. We use it along with the HP Instant Ink subscription and we don't have to worry about our ink running low anymore. It is a bit bulky, so if you are short on space, you might want to look elsewhere... however this printer is highly recommended for your home/office needs!

Our 8500 series finally reached the point of needing print head replacement and decided that investing in that old of a device was not the right choice. I decided to go with the 8720 based on the sale price and the ability to handle legal size documents for scanning/copying. Not something I need on a regular basis, but easier than taking them to the office. The setup went well and have it working across multiple Windows 10 computers in our house and can also remote print from my Galaxy S6. It is fast and quiet. I have not tried printing photographs as we have a printer setup just for that use. We did sign up for the auto delivery of ink, just haven't used it enough yet to determine if that is the best solution.

I almost returned the printer because it is HUGE! I decided not to and am glad I kept it. I am very pleased with photo printing, quick printing, high quality scanning, faxing and size of paper tray. I like that it doesn't have a flimsy arm that the printer spits its output onto and it flips it up onto the printer instead. It seems to have better ink conservation than my last one. I have done lots of printing and haven't had to replace a cartridge yet. I subtracted a star for 2 reasons: it consistently spits out a blank page after printing something and the scanner lid has to be held up manually--it won't stay up on its own.
