This is an excellent printer/copier. Have not used the FAX function at this time. The unit does not take long to start up and be ready for use. It also operates very quietly. Its speed of printing is excellent in my view and much faster than anything I have owned before. I have been very satisfied with the quality of the print itself. Have been using for about a month and feel it has been an excellent purchase for the value. It is not a small printer so it will require some room for installation.

Excellent photo copying. Easy to setup and use. A little more noisy than expected when operating. Large size compared to others but it is not detrimental to installation.

This is a good machine. Good size. Color and black and white print very well. Fast. But I seem to be running out of black ink quicker than I would like. I have had it for a month and I am already halfway down on black. The other colors are holding well. I would buy it again, just be aware.

Easy to set up and operate with quality printing. I especially like the multi-function of printing, fax and scanning which all work well.

I have used HP printers for over 10 years now. This is the best HP printer I have ever owned. The setup was a piece of cake. All the work is done by the printer and the computer. The instant ink program is a breeze. Scanning is a piece of cake with the Windows 10 app you can access through the start screen. I would recommend this printer to anyone. It works like a charm. I can print from my phone, I can print from any device, I can print from email in a remote location. Works seamlessly on my schools Wi-Fi. Buy this printer you will not be disappointed.

Went to buy some Ink for my old printer and ran across this little baby well not so little. Easy to setup. Works great so far and got a very good deal on this after talking with the HP rep and the BB staff that was there. Also love that this works with my Windows Phone. Hard to find devices that will work this seamlessly with them. We will see what time will bring but for $170 w/a $50 gift card... Not too bad of a deal when I planned on dropping $60-70 just on Ink for my aging printer. Previous printer was an HP Photosmart C series printer and nothing bad to say about those so I hope this has the same quality I have had in the past.

This printer is by far the best printer I have owned. No problems with the functions I need to perform at the present time. A lot of the functions I have not had to use yet but I am certain there will be no problems when needed, Printing is perfect, easy to set up. Toners are a bit pricey but you can get discounts; and they last last longer than other toners. Get the XL toners as much as possible. You won't be disappointed!

Makes beautiful prints and copies. Faster than my previous printer. More expensive than other all in one printers but seems to be worth it. I haven’t used the ink feature that automatically orders ink but that will be great to have

Purchased this as replacement for prior OfficeJet 8620 (I also had an 8500 before that). The 8720 set up is very easy, and the print quality is good. Scans are also good and fast. The printer appears to take a while to digest a file before it starts printing (certainly longer than the 8620), but not a big deal. Print output location under top is unique, and seems a little awkward at first, but it means that there is no overhang of the paper tray, and no pages lost to the floor, so the printer takes up less space. Overall, it seems good. Hopefully, a bit more reliable than my last 8620, which died after <6 months.

I've only had the printer a few weeks, but so far I've been fairly pleased. I had wanted to buy another OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus, a printer I've had for about six or seven years that has been terrific, but unfortunately that model is no longer made, and the 8720 was the closest thing. It seems a little less solid than the 8600, and also has a slightly different form factor (not quite as good as that of the 8600), but it still seems fairly sturdy. It was very easy to set up and get running, and it's pretty quick at printing, especially when printing double-sided printing. So far no complaints.

Easy setup for wireless and print quality for both bW and color is excellent for a inkjet. Initial cartridges have lasted a reasonable amount of time / pages. Well priced and worth the money. I have two of these printers and they have both performed very well.

I didn't keep this printer very long because I realized that I could not get wireless faxing; my HP printer could. While I did have this printer working and printing out some paperwork about the printer, I found the printer to VERY fast and efficient.

After reading a lot of reviews for this printer and talking to the HP rep in person, I decided to get it and try it for myself. Setup couldn’t have been easier even though it took a few minutes. This printer is fast, reliable and gives beautiful printouts. I have used it for photos yet, but I seldom print photos anyway. I receive plenty of emails from HP keeping me updated and have already received my first supply of replacement inks. I couldn’t beat the deal and this is now my go to printer.

Does everything well. It is a workhorse that is seems to keep going with no problems. The only down side is the size.

I purchased this printer instead of the HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 that was a few bucks cheaper at C****o. The printer was very easy to set up and automatically connected to my home WiFi network. I am not sure how many pages the initial ink cartridges will produce, that is my only concern which is an ink issue not a printer issue. It is fast, fairly quiet. The only downfall is that it takes up a good size footprint in my workspace compared to the HP Photosmart 7520 that I am replacing.

Easy setup, works better and faster than expected. Double sided document scanning is a bonus feature I wasn't aware of, so double sided copy to double sided works great. Print and copy speed is excellent. The "apps" feature was not easy to set up, but is basically useless anyway as there are hardly any useful apps. I like separate color ink cartridges, less wasteful. It has a sturdy feel when you open the paper drawer. Many other HP models feel flimsy like they will break before the tray opens.

Easy to use. Easy to access to change print cartridges. Display is simple to navigate. Auto-feed for document scanning is really nice. Quality of prints are great and it works well with printing smaller form documents like envelopes too. That said, I think ALL printers are prone to break sooner than you would like. It's a bunch of moving, plastic parts that take on wear and tear, so I always get the 2-year replacement warranty. Totally worth it.

I had an older high-end Brother color multi-function laser printer which got lots of use with children in middle and high school. Now empty nesters with limited printing needs and dreaded spending hundreds of $ on toner cartridges, new drum unit, and waste container for this older Brother printer. Ended-up selecting the HP OfficeJet Pro 8720 after reading many reviews. It was easy to set-up, including the scanning to a file on my computer. Printing is fast too. In fact, the HP software is more intuitive than the Brother Control Center 3 software. Agree with one review I read that this HP printer functions better than printers costing many times more. The best part is the Instant Ink program, especially since I now have more limited print and copy needs. Once you wrap your head around the fact your paying per page and not for the ink cartridge, you will find the cost per page an excellent value. This is true even if you go over your plan's monthly page limit.

After reading a number of negative and positive reviews on this printer, I decided to take a risk and try it out. The printer was easy to set up, and link to my mobile devices. The auto double-sided printing does not slow my print jobs and the print quality is good. I haven’t used high volume printing as of yet, but have been quite pleased with this printer and it’s output.

I love this printer. When it prints its quiet it is a little on the big side, but I can handle that because my last HP was just as big. Instead of the bulky item in the back this one is in the front.
