I have been using this printer for about 3 weeks now. Everything was very easy to set up. Several reviews commented said that they were having a problem printing on both sides, but I haven't had that problem. Very pleased with the copies and prints. The document feeder is working very well and I am pleased with how fast it prints. Printed photos using glossy paper and the high resolution and color is perfect.

Quick, easy to setup and fast. Just what a home office needs. Scanning software works easily to use. I love the instant ink. Always there ready when you need it.

This is an excellent all in one printer. It is a solidly built machine that should give much longer service than some of the lower cost printers. Scanning/printing/copying are all fast and give good, clear results. Footprint is larger than lighter weight machines but I believe this machine is more for a home office or small office application. Overall, an excellent unit.

Purchased this printer for my home office, as required by my work. As I had no choice in the matter, I was initially fearful of any issues I may have. So far, the all-in-one has worked as superbly as any standing printer at the office, in both printing and scanning speed. Was very easy and straightforward to install drivers and up and running on my wireless network.

We've had the HP 8720 for a month, and it's proven to be all we could want in a home printer--fast, good quality printing, quiet. We couldn't be more pleased.

Love this printer. Works great, quiet. Has separate cartridge for each color ink, so you only replace what you need. Good quality and quick printing.

SO much better than my last HP printer. This is super quiet, super fast, and really easy to set up. Has worked flawlessly so far. Gave it four stars instead of five as it burned through the starter ink cartridges very quickly. Had to replace them within a week of buying the printer, so be sure to buy an extra set with your purchase so you don't run out.

My husband needed a better printer to replace his aging printer. I chose the HP 8720 for its features and value. Once he started using his new printer, it surpassed his expectations. It is very fast, easy to set up on our PC and iMac, as well as our android based phones and MAC tablet. The device can scan documents on both sides and does so at blazing speeds.

I am so happy with this printer!! It had been running like a charm. One jam in all these months. Had turned my small Home and School Projects into easy simple tasks!

This printer is the best one I have ever owned. I especially love how my printer papers stack on a secure area. Other printers have that flimsy pull out that tend to break, this one doesn't. This is very easy to use, prints perfect every time and with the HP instant ink, it says me so much money. Love it. Yes one, seriously best one I have owned. Great for photos too.

I needed a printer that could scan and print legal size pages and had decent printing speeds. This printer meets all the specs I was looking for. It was easy to setup up with both my mobile and Windows devices. The printing is spectacular compared to what I had before (Espson WF-3640). Easy to load paper, change ink. It takes up a lot of real estate but is worth it.

The HP printer was very easy to set up, add to my network, print excellent pictures and run regular print jobs. It replaced my HP printer of 10 years and my high expectations were met. Color is great, the ease of changing cartridges, adding paper and printing to laptops, phones was incredibly simple. I continue to be a fan of HP printers.

I am pleased with my purchase. This printer is somewhat quieter than the 8620 it replaced. I would still have the 8620 if I had not had a lightning strike that took out all of my electronics. This also seemed easier to set up. Would recommend this printer. It is somewhat larger than the normal home printer but I still feel it is a good buy and great printer.

I've purchased about 10 of these for our stores and the only complaint heard so far is even though the printing is set to black only, the color cartridges are getting used as well. So setting printing preference to black/white only does not save on the color cartridges. Once a color cartridge runs out you must replace it or nothing is going to print. Would have received a 5 star if not for that.

I have had various Epson home printers before and as of late, they have been pretty poor in quality. I needed a more reliable and efficient printer so gave this a try. Very pleased with the ease of set up as well as the consistency of use, doesn’t have any issues when connecting to my network and has been so far reliable in printing what I need

Great printer. Pretty easy to use and set up. Still trying to get ink information set up though. Having issues with that still. Overall a great choice though.

got it with a promotion. went on web to download driver and app as instructed but did not expect need to download 2 programs. It went without problems print quality appears to be good. So far only 2 print jobs failed and reason unknown. both only 2 pages with graphics and text. Concern for the automatic 2 sided scanner and printer but working well so far and only 1 stuck 2 sided scan and finally use the flat bed to scan it to 2 sides of the print. Wonder how long the mechanical part of the 2 sided scanning and printing will last. my last HP printer, the scanner finally quits after 3-4 years. new to the instant ink concept. sign up for the minimal use cycle and so far is still on the trial period. Like it so far, may move to the moderate use cycle after the trial period. concern for the negative review before buying this but looking around other models and other brands, seem like everyone has a lot of neg reviews anyway. I am using wired network connection and did not need Wifi connection, which is 1 problem many user facing. So far I feel lucky with what I got and hope this will stay good for long.

I decided on this one after my last printer's printhead decided to no longer produce decent printouts without some kind of halo surrounding the text. No amount of cleaning the printhead would fix it and I wound up wasting more ink in the process. I decided to go this one because it seemed to have all the features I needed (duplex ADF and printing, wireless, SHARP TEXT when printing). It has so far met my expectations. Only issues I've run into so far involve the first time I tried to do a duplex print and the first page got jammed. I'm not sure what exactly happened there but it hasn't done it since. I got a blue screen of death (yes, on the printer) after coming back from vacation the first time I tried to scan something. Not sure what to make of that either. I can only hope these are just growing pains. I even had the latest firmware installed. One plus that I do like about this printer that my previous one didn't have was no extendable tray to collect print outs. Instead they collect themselves just under the scanner like a laser printer. The drawback, though, is the larger footprint that this creates. That's probably the one thing I will miss from my last printer. I also don't have the ability to feed envelopes or other specialty paper on a separate tray but I'd be doing that on rare occasions so I thought that was something I could live without. Overall, it's working like it should. Only time will tell if it continues to stay that way.
