I've had this computer for years, it's treated me well. Not many downsides the truth is, only negative thing I could possibly say is the fact that it heats up alot.

Mainly using this laptop to run Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing and it works great. It does lag sometimes, but that is because I’m throwing excessive 4k videos at it. Still, this laptop is fast and great for gaming and having several applications running at the same time.

My son has been eager to get Gaming laptop opposite of his brother with gaming pc. He has enjoyed the speed and ability of the HP Owen since box open especially playing FORNITE! Has become better tournament player and now wins!

We got this gaming laptop for my son for Christmas and he loves it! Sturdy, loves the lighting, and feel of the keyboard. Was a great price during the holidays.

PC games look great and computer is fast so no lagging. Great purchase.

I purchased this gaming laptop for my grandson. He loves it. It has all the details needed for him to play his games.

This is a great laptop. Designed for gaming, however I use it for graphic design. Ot has the all the necessary specs without the big price tag as other laptops for graphic design

Got this for my college sophomore, seems to work well so far

My son took this computer to college and lost the charger. HP didn’t have any in stock. Replaced the charger with two generic chargers that promptly stopped working because we didn’t realize they had to have a certain amount of voltage for this computer. Called HP back. Have been waiting SIX WEEKS for a new charger. The computer is fine but what good is it without a charger?? I’m really surprised that such a big company doesn’t carry chargers in stock and also that they can’t get them faster from China when they aren’t in stock. My son starts classes again. I’m going to have to buy him a different computer. I’m completely disappointed with HP. They can’t expect the primary consumer of this product (boys) to not lose the chargers.

Loved the computer, its super fast, works perfect for games, its just incredible

It seemed great, for about 2 days. Then the over heating started running an extremely old MMO with not even high-end graphics. I did as HP suggested on their support site, and underclocked the cpu. Again, seemed great few a few more days, then things began to escalate. It continued to get worse and worse despite following HP trouble shooting and support suggestions. Finally took it back in to Best Buy. They are sending it off. I haven't had the thing for even 30 days, but now will be without it for between 1 to 3 weeks. I don't feel I can give a positive review for a product that should work "like new" but doesn't.
