I love this laptop for gaming on the go. It is definitely a little heavy in a backpack if you are traveling and flying. But it definitely is everything that you need. I play alot of Call Of Duty and Apex and it is perfect for it. It runs very fast. Its worth every penny you spend. I was worried with it being a laptop that it would get to hot but the fans in the laptop keep it cool even with hours and hours of gaming. You won't be disappointed.

The laptop is powerful and amazing, everything is very smooth. But the only issue is it weighs like a ton. Not easily portable. And the charger that cane with it stopped working properly after few months. As for the performance it is very nice.

Great computer so far with great speed! Had bought an Apple (not for gaming) but it was soo slow I took it back. Then I got this home and man I couldn’t believe how fast it was! More than happy with this purchase. Hopefully will be buying more memory soon! Only downside which doesn’t bother me too much is the battery does drain quicker because of the speed.

price to performance is amazing, rdr2, gta V, cod mw2, spider man, and many other games run 100+ frames. another benefit to note is that because of the 40 series card you get massive flash benefits. the 144hz is a much bigger deal over having a 1440p screen. over all very happy with it just make sure you’re plugged in for gaming otherwise battery life is almost non existent and frame rate is poor.

I don't think you'll find a better deal on a better gaming laptop than this. Amazing that the specs are better than most desktops yet the price is lower. Really fast, we are able to run all kinds of games with fast loads and buttery smooth graphics. Very happy with this purchase.

This laptop is really nice for gaming, coding and other entertaining media. I like how it can be this size with this kind of tech. Love the keyboard lightning that you can change it depend on what program you use. I use this for gaming and coding. gaming is so much fun on it with the 144hz. I love that you can wire internet cable to it make internet faster for gaming and downloading doesn't have to rely on Wifi. Battery are depend on how bright you using but for me I always keep it plug in while I played game but when I do something else I tend to wait until it tell me battery running low to plug it in. It last me a while though.

Amazing laptop. It's extremely fast and has a lot of space. I stick with HP for mostly work and this is flawless. It's perfect for gaming as it's a gaming laptop but that's not what I use it for. I'm a graphic designer and I needed a laptop without lag to upload my artwork onto websites and this does the job extremely well and quick.

Awesome laptop, really decent for games and fast for research, only thing be carefull because if you make it fo to all its graphic power its going to sound like and airplane

This is a very nice gaming laptop! It meets all the requirements for a great gaming experience and it excels with it's hardware specs. Battery life is good, but keep in mind this is a gaming laptop and it can use up its battery very quickly. Speed and Display is excellent keeping up with fast video game play.

I had a crummy old msi laptop with a 1650 in it. Sure still could run some games but not at 4k. I have a 4k TV and want to see it take advantage of it. So i went to the store not knowing what to expect for the money that it was going to cost. But the blue shirt made me feel welcome and invited. So we looked at the display models but i wanted something with a future upgradeable to it. So we found this little one. I wasn't sure if i wanted to spend the cash but i was going to be moving and down seizing so i got this guy. So with all the features built in i have been extremely happy to play at 4k. This thing gets a little loud with the fan cranking up but hey its a laptop. It does that to keep it cooling. Not a big fan of Norton but i figure for 6 months why not. I cant find this guy anywhere else online with the features listed. So i got a good deal as i see others were happy so far with their purchase of the unit. Thanks to the blue shirts who helped me out and now i good for the next 5 plus years.

Its definitely been the best buy we could have done. I bought this for my wife since shes been interested in gaming with me and shes been able to run every single game weve tried from simple games like lethal company to huge games like modded minecraft call of duty etc. Its definitely been the best for our together time.

This laptop is very good really good at high fps game I haven’t seen any problems with it really and it is very easy to learn the controls of the omen software i would recommend this for anyone looking for a good gaming laptop with amazing graphics and performance and decent battery life

Great laptop overall. Runs fast and well with no boot errors or screens of death to report so far. But it only has one m.2 connector for SSD chip, so it's more difficult and costly to upgrade the storage capacity. Most gaming laptops I've seen have 2 SSD slots.... The SSD and the RAM are both Samsung brand and have good specs. RAM is DDR5 and there are 2 slots. I think the motherboard can support up to 64Gb on this model.

Beautiful display, fast processor and ample storage for my engineering work. Still running it through its paces, but so far, very pleased with this PC. My only complaint so far is the shadow black shows fingerprints and needs to be wiped down on a regular basis.

Performs well but can be loud. I like to use it for assignments so depending on applications (adobe, visual basic and netbean) battery life varies. Moreover, guitar hero, surprisingly makes my battery life really short. No other game is installed so i dont know if its just for me.

Got this for sale and so far I'm happy with it. Keyboard and display are nice and so far, the laptop runs quickly. My biggest critique is the battery life. It's advertised at 6 hours but it's a lot less. The laptop also does not provide accurate estimations for remaining battery life; sometimes it'll show 2 hours then randomly jump to 4 hours then down to 1.5 hours without opening or closing any programs. Initially, the laptop would drain 10-20% battery overnight even while it was shut off, but I got it to drain less battery by turning off fast startup. Another issue is it seems that this particular HP Omen 16 model is one of the only ones that comes with only 1 SSD slot. Other models have 2 SSD slots to easily add storage, but this model only has 1 and I only found out after opening the baseplate. Overall, it's a nice gaming laptop.

Good value for the price. It will play mid level games at amazing settings and higher tier games on medium settings. I have been using it almost daily with no issues

Good just wish the startup was better and I didn’t have to hold the space bar to start it and it gets very hot after a while but it runs very good, my son plays Fortnite. On it and it runs at 144fps at medium graphics but overall I recommend to buy it it is a game changer for getting better at video games

I love this laptop, it works well for normal laptop purposes as well as gaming purposes. It does get a bit hot if it is running a game with the graphics turned all the way up, but that is to be expected! I recommend this to others. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars only because I opened my laptop one day and there was a crack near the touchpad, and when contacting HP support they said it is not covered under warranty even though GeekSquad and a previous HP representative said it was. This lack of support even while under warranty definitely knocks off at least one star in my opinion. Other than that I recommend this laptop!
