The last HP I had was a ProBook from around 2014. My current daily is a 2015 MacBook Pro I was lucky enough to get for free from a friend that had no use for it. The keyboard and touchpad on this laptop blow away anything else I tried in-store. The screen has low to no glare, the speakers are good, and there's plenty of I/O for my uses. The only detractor for me is the size. I thought I could make a 16.1" screen work but it's too much for my portability needs. If that doesn't bother you, then this is definitely a good option for you and you won't be disappointed. Keep in mind it uses a barrel plug charger.

Very nice laptop! It can easily run every game I've tried on max graphics with other programs such as Firefox and Discord open with absolutely no issues. The battery dies a little quickly when running games, but most places have outlets. I mainly purchased this because I move back and forth for school and absolutely destroyed a desktop PC that way.

Chose pick up, and get it on the next day. The box was surprisingly big and heavy. Laptop itself is powerful enough for me to play my favorite games like wuthering waves Roblox and No man's sky. Battery without charger holds 4 hours for YouTube and 1.5-2 hours gaming

I got this as an open box, and it was in excellent condition. I'm 7 months in use, and it hasn't failed me once. I'm able to stream, work, do music, use apps like Ableton, Discord, Twitch, and OBS Studio to do what I want to do with my games and music. 10/10 Budget gaming laptop, especially with the 40 series, I'm able to play most games with graphics set to "High" at 60FPS. and even Ultra for other games that aren't are rigorous in demand for graphics.

Great pc, you can even even run some games on ultr high graphics without worrying about gpi temps or anything

I bought this to replace my son’s 6 year old Acer Nitro laptop that had problems for a couple of years with overheating & the keys not working right. I can’t even begin to tell you how happy this made a 16 year old on Christmas. We were at his grandma’s house when he opened it, so he was thinking he’d have to wait until we were home to play any good games (her internet speeds are abysmal, like 7-10 mbps), but even with fighting cousins for bandwidth, this thing was fantastic. As soon as we got home, he set the graphics on No Man’s Sky to the highest level & had to come show me how great it looked and how fast everything was running. For a grumpy teenager, he has a pretty big smile on his face whenever he talks about his games now. The only downside is that the only time I see him is when he’s hungry or if the internet goes out.

This is a really good laptop for both gaming, school. Though a bit heavy, it is very portable and the battery life is pretty good for what I use it for.

Great laptop! Works well, games well, everything works. Only minor issue is under heavy load it will stutter once thermals are at max, but once fan kicks in for long enough little stutter stops. Adjusting fan curves helps!

This Laptop has served its purpose exactly as necessary thus far, and runs the games I currently play with ease. I would definitely recommend this as a lower-mid tier gaming laptop for anyone just starting out with PC Gaming, who wants portability as well as standard playability.

Everything about this thing is slick and works... except for the wifi card. Absolutely unacceptable wifi performance from the card here (its a realtek 8852CE or something like that) Will be buying a usb dongle for it hoping that it improves the quality of wifi i get on it. Right now im getting around 40-60mbps on a connection that nets my other devices around 350mbps. Its pretty pathetic. But this thing will definitely play the games you want it to. Played through Hellblade 2 on Ultra with very few issues.

Great laptop, plenty beefy for me but the fan noise is outrageous. thing sounds like a vacuum cleaner while its running.

Good Computer for a person that wants to start gaming but is on a budget

I got it on sale and its not bad for the money. It does oerhest a bit and sound like a jet engine but as long as its getting air and is plugged it it has ran just about everything i have played.

Love this pc this is the best PC on the market if you need it for gaming and other sorts of needs

My son loves to play video games and he couldn’t be happier with his new laptop. Very fast and it really made a difference on the way he plays.

Felt great, moves quick, nice display, etc. However, HP is obnoxious with their selective inclusions of standard features to make people spring for higher tiered products. This laptop can only hold one NVME SSD. One M.2 in 2025 is wild. You must pay +$400 more for an Omen that can seat another NVME.

Pc has the best specs overall, the speed is great and the graphics also. It is also very good for gaming. I would recommend this item to those who want to play game.
