The first unit I ordered failed after two days. Initially thought it was the power supply gone bad, but another unknown hardware issue was present. The desktop simply would not turn on. I attribute this after troubleshooting to a component failure or bad soldering, and not the overall effectiveness of the desktop. I did not have a pleasant experience in dealing with the exchange, one of my first issues was that the desktop suddenly became unavailable online (it was not stocked in my local Best Buy to begin with) and this desktop has the specs I needed. It is the 2016 model so this may have been why, since HP has come out with newer desktops. After dealing with BB's Geeksquad, customer care line, and HP themselves, I got lucky enough they decided to restock this. I won't go into all the hassle I had to deal with in regards to BB's customer service, since this is really about the product itself, but the store associate was great in helping me get a new one. The new unit is now in my possession and so far works great. The bootup time is seconds. I mostly use it for art programs, music and gaming. My most played game is WoW and I easily get 175+ FPS in play. It runs flawlessly. I also purchased the HP Omen 25" monitor, though anyone wanting GSync should invest in the larger monitor. The USB ports are nicely organized both on the back and on the top of the desktop, I don't feel like cables get jumbled. The color changing case is aesthetically pleasing though not a deciding factor for me. I noticed there was some specs confusion in the questions/answers section, so I will mention that this does in fact have liquid cooling. The whole system runs very quiet, time to time you may hear slightly cycling but its negligible and not annoying. The wifi works great though I don't need it currently. Opening up the case, as some other reviews pointed out, it can be a little cramped inside and may be difficult to add some hardware (ie. SATA) as there are many wires and the graphics card is mounted in such a way that you may have to remove it to install other hardware. That doesn't bug me much as for what I'm using it for now, I won't need upgrades or additions for awhile. My only real con is the basic keyboard it comes with. I haven't invested in a gaming keyboard yet, and I did switch the basic mouse out with my gaming mouse. But the keyboard is very small and cramped, there isn't much raise in the keys so if you don't eyeball your keyboard (I don't usually look and I type 75 wpm), it's easy to press the wrong keys. For the amount of money you spend on this, it should come with a more ergonomic keyboard. If you're looking to not spend a fortune on the new model HP Omens, I would consider this unit. There are other 2016 models that they list on BB's website, but the specs are generally lower quality and yet more expensive, at least when I purchased this one. I couldn't pass up the price.

I purchased this and wanted to wait to give it an honest review after using it for 6 weeks. I bought this for my daughter's youtube company to review games for the vive. The computer was packaged nicely and it came with a decent keyboard and wired mouse which we didn't use because we have a gaming mouse and keyboard. Huge problem initially it wouldn't power on, checked cords and then went to HP help online. After following the instructions and opening the case we found the wire harness was not connected to the motherboard. Once we connected the harness and checked for any other loose connections we buttoned it up and it fired right up. Boot times are quick thanks to the SSD and it handles all her games flawlessly while recording with an elgato. The Vive also runs smoothly on the highest resolution settings courtesy of the GTX1080 graphics card. We run three monitors and the Vive at the same time without any issues. From an aesthetic view it looks nice and you can change the LED colors to just about any combination, our setting is a graded color scale that shows the heat level of the computer. So far no problems with overheating because of the liquid cooling. We also love the integrated memory card reader on the front. It scared and frustrated me at first because of the wiring harness but after calming down and following the instructions from the HP website everything worked out great. Its more expensive than other gaming computers but we have been very happy with HP products and this computer continues that tradition.

I had a Dell all in one computer for 5 years and worked, or so I thought, great. Well the hard drive went bad after 5 years so I was forced to purchase a new one. We needed one that plays GoPro videos with no lag in them and let me tell you.......... this one get's the job done. It is super fast booting up and plays videos with no issues. It is worth the money paid.

Had this unit for about a month and it preforms well. Fast and can keep up with my multi tasking without a glitch.

Amazing computer... extremely fast. Handles are the heavy software with no problems.
