The temp problems you hear about the Omen 30L are overrated. Gpu stays cool and Cpu has never reached higher than 73 C playing demanding titles. I love the size and looks of this tower. The bloatware can be eliminated quickly but I like HP gaming software to control lighting effects. Great build quality and raw power with the 5800X and 3070 in such a small sleek looking tower. Great value for $1799 and goes on sale for $1700. I also have more confidence with warranty issues with HP compared to Ibuy and Cyber.

Really enjoying this computer. Super quiet and stays cool. A lot of computer for the money. Haven’t gamed in several years and thought it would be fun to get back into it. Processor and gpu stay nice and cool. I saw some bad reviews on this and I’m not sure why. I am more than happy with this purchase and would highly recommend to anyone who is a gamer.

The Desktop is designed for less than extreme but beyond average graphic gaming and it produces exceptional results but the desktop has reduced speeds after 3-6 Months. The login is tedious and extenuating with the unavailability to upgrade the desktop as the RAM is outdated by a company possibly bought by another.

Nice pc. Doesn't overheat. Runs smoothly even playing GTA online, fornite and Minecraft. The only thing I didn't like was the fact they included a gaming keyboard. A little over 2 grand spent for warranty, taxes and hp throws in a cheesy PC keyboard which is useless with a gaming PC. Had to purchase a gaming keyboard I order to play games. So buyers be prepared to purchase a gaming keyboard if you don't already have one. I also wish the fan on inside had lights and hp should have added another fan. Overall I'm satisfied. At some point I will have to upgrade graphics card and have an additional fan installed. The gpu doesn't overheat but it does reach temps of 60 and 70.

My second HP OMEN 30L; first one used daily to run my business and zero hassles. No overheating (tip: set power level in Windows control panel to 95% vs 100% for Ryzen CPU). This one is backup and also to play some games :) Love the look, and could not have built this machine for sale price right now. So win win. Would buy again.

i love how i purchased this for playing games but ended up training reinforcement learning models, running straight for 2-3 weeks at times

The GPU is an RTX 3070, but depsite the title mistake, it's a good gaming desktop for the price, especially if you buy it on sale. The thermals never overheated while running New World, a very resource intensive game, at max settings and my gameplay was very smooth running 144hz at 1440p resolution. One thing that's bugged me recently is the sleep function on the PC. It's very unreliable. The computer will either turn back on as soon as you put it to sleep, or the fans will rev up, and you can't turn it on. The latter of which is a well doccumented issue, yet HP has done nothing to fix. I'm going to talk to tech support later on how to possibly fix this, as my current solution is to put the PC on hibernate. Other than the sleep mode issues, it's pretty good.

After a year of looking and researching reviews on a good gaming desktop i finally went with hp omen 30L and ill tell you its been great so far. I have it connected to a 1440p 165hz monitor and far every game i played from bright memory infinite , them and us, gta v and many more been giving me close to max fps 165 at max settings and cpu temp averages out to around 70 degrees celcius. With max hitting 85 degrees for a few seconds. Plan on changing out fans in future for better ones. Highly recommend if u got dollars to burn.

My old ailenware r5 from 2016 was dying so i desperately needed an upgrade. I was originally looking on New Egg for something but when i was finally able to purchase it was out of stock so i had to go back to looking. I was able to find this and it has everything the Asus i was looking at on new egg had, except this HP has liquid cooling which i wanted and the other one did not. Pretty much the only way you can get a 3070 now too and for what i paid ($1800 before tax) id say it was a good deal. Windows 11 was a bit challenging to get ised to from windows 10 but after messing with it a bit for several days everything makes sense. Learning new stuff and all that. Overall Very happy with it.

I’ve had this for two years for gaming and streaming. I’ve set up three monitors and who knows how many USB and USB extension ports to this thing and it still goes strong to this day. Despite me having limited to barely any knowledge in how to properly use a pc I found this an amazing first buy and when I need another you best believe I’m getting the same thing again.

I love my PC I've had it for about a year and I've been able to play so many games on it but after a year of having it I've been having games causing it to crash recently. I think it may need a stronger power supply if you decide to do any upgrades on it.

So, I read reviews of this, saying that it was advertising RTX 3080, but they got sent a 3070, and the listing was updated afterward. I assumed this was some kind of error, however that very thing happened to me as well. While the PC runs very smoothly, boots up almost instantly, plays just about any game with no problem, I DID have this issue. And for that reason alone, I am giving this a 4 star for it's performance, I also will likely not be buying from Best Buy anymore. If you advertise as a 3080 then CHANGE the listing AFTER the order is made to 3070, you are STRAIGHT up scamming your customers. Not a very good business model. *Shrug*

Not related to item but when issued a refund I was shorted 15 dollars and it’s not a lot but there’s principle and they said the reason was for the 3 month subscription for anti virus but it’s free with purchase so how am I being charged for something that was free besides that the product ran very well just had a weird stutter/freeze with a warped audio noise and went way in about 3 seconds looked it up didn’t see anyone have my issues so assuming it was a defect and I ordered another hoping it’s perfect this time fingers crossed

I love this computer. Upgrade my 2060 Omen to this years model as I was impressed with the last one and have not been disappointed. It does have run a little hotter than I like but with some over clocking and undervolting you can get the temps under control. You could also upgrade the fans or AIO but keep in mind that will void your warranty

I love it. Friend helped me choose my first pc and said this one would do well for what I wanted- and he wasn’t wrong! Haven’t had any issues from this setup.
