Got this For my son as his first gaming PC. He seems to really love it. The OS seems easy to use and the graphics are amazing. My son was able to put his Demigorgan inside the PC so it looks fierce with the color changing lights.

HP did something right great performance and not to bad thermals. I been playing assassin's creed valhalla max settings at 1440p my gpu stays around 60 to 70c but the cpu stays around 80c the whole time i seen it get to 85c once but the fans kicked up at it went back to 80c. And thats with around 5 hours straight of ac: valhalla. So from my understanding that is really reasonable temps good job hp.

OMG this PC is a Beast!!! I can play QHD 165HZ on Ultra settings! I got the Ibuypower PC last year i7-9700F with GTX 1660S for around 1000 bucks and boy this is a huge upgrade! I sold it and got this one, totally worth the extra cash! Some reviews say that this PC gets hot, I have no issues at all! And with other prebuilds you get really crappy RAM or stuff but mine came with hyperX 16gb 3200mhz!

First time AMD buyer. I must say that this is an amazing desktop pc! Best one money can buy at this time I believe. It was running a little hotter than I would like but changed minimum processor state to 5% and never looked back. CPU temp now ranges in the 50s and GUP in 40s while doing light work and watching videos. Game performance is great too. Couldn't be happier.

I went in planning on a purchase but had no idea what’s a good computer to take on a gaming monitor I just bought. So I described what I had as a monitor and what I wanted to do with it...the sales rep searched all over the store and came up with one solid answer. An open box item. At first I was kinda skeptical as to where was it from (someone else’s profile, accounts and so on...) but rest assured, none of that was present. I got a killer deal on top of some spending cash for other gear. I did spend more than I planned but I also got a computer that will last quite a while too! I’m well satisfied with my purchase!

So far so good! Very satisfied. Only thing is, I wish there was more Air flow. Yes could easily add more fans but the case is a little restrictive.
I would buy again in a heartbeat!

The first picture you see is me having to factory reset the PC on my second day after buying it. For some reason my games started running really slow. My League of Legends had a really slow reaction time, Apex and Anthem We are teleporting me all around just on the first day of purchase. Every specialist is going to first say that it is Internet issues but my speed is speed averages about 300-400 Mpbs as u can see in the picture. I’m sure I will find a way to fix it I hope it’s not a hardware issue. I’m honestly really upset about having issues like this on the first day I’ve updated drivers and everything but still nothing in there is nothing that helps online.

Beautiful machine, I use it for day trading, engineering software, gaming, and works flawlessly. No wonder it runs out of stock quickly, I hesitated and had to purchase an open box because I did not want to wait. Highest temp I get is about 75c when gaming at ultra settings. Feels good to look at, Makes my day every morning.

Great PC, I have had no issues whatsoever with lag, or bad frame rates. It looks great, it's not as loud as people are making it out to be, and it's customizable. Love it!

Wrong model/blue screens. Not recommended

My first shipment was the wrong model entirely. I received Ryzen 5 3060 instead of Ryzen 7 3060 Ti.
Best Buy did a good job helping me resolve this, but the correct model was sold out, so I could only get an open-box in Excellent condition. This was a mistake also.
The first thing I noticed is that the CPU liquid cooler is not RGB (has no light). The one on the image has RGB, but I think it's only on the 3080 model and not on 3070. Still misleading.
Next, the open-box unit would crash randomly with a blue screen making it impossible to play games or watch videos. I updated Windows, drivers, and ran diagnostics. The CPU ran a little hot at 60-70C idle, but everything said PASSED.
Since it looks like a hardware issue similar to other reviews, I will be returning it.

Used it for gpu, cpu, ssd, and psu. Had to buy a new mobo, case, aio, fans. This pc runs super hot. the thermal paste looked horrible so glad I changed the aio and caught this In time. Photo is temps after case swap during max load playing cod, in the original case it would be well over 80 degrees Celsius.

I would like to start off by saying I loved this PC however it has major issues. My first 30L lasted about a week before it began freezing with the fans on full speed. Hard resets we’re needed to get the pc to function again. Best Buy swapped it for another 30L no problem.
Fast forward 3 months. The replacement 30l completely crashed. I bought the pc for running a landscape design software. Hp said it was a mother board crash and needs to be sent in. This is just unacceptable for a machine this price to fail twice in 3 months. HPs tech support is amazing and I loved this pc when it worked. Unfortunately they need to get these bugs fixed.
I would also like to thank Best Buy for making this situation right. The one star is based off of the computers functionality. Best Buy and hp were excellent to work with. I unfortunately wasted many hours with the geek squad hp support and trips to Best Buy.
I cannot make up for this lost time, however I do hope to save someone from the troubles I have dealt with.

I bought this on a Saturday and was ready for pickup the next Friday. Picked it up, no damage to box whatsoever, out in 5 minutes. Brought it home unpacked it, fired it up, and satisfaction. The RGB 3200Mhz 2x8GB memory is quite pleasant looking. The case has a nice lighted diamond and bottom mounted fan in the front. Inside case lighting up top near the radiator fan as well. These are all RGB(I thought they were only white) and can be controlled through the Omen app. Tiny bit of bloatware and off to the races. Tower is very quiet and the 3060ti is quiet as well. No RGB on the 3060ti for those wondering. The fans do ramp up and some noise can be heard but nothing like a jet engine. The power supply is a cooler master 750watt Plus Gold that is upgradable for the future. Wifi 5 works perfect even though it does not have any external antennas. Everything works and HP has come a long way. I build my own systems, but for the 1649 price this was a decent deal in todays gpu crunch.
I fired it up and mined for a few hours and the 3060ti hits 61 MH/s @ 120 watts. GPU stays very cool and even at 80% fans is pretty quiet.
The NVMe is fast and a welcome addition instead of a noisy HDD. Water cooling works good and is quiet as well. I am surprised how well they setup this tower. Easy to work on, some expansion options and just far better than they have been known for. Only things that are bad; and I mean really bad are the keyboard and mouse. If you bought the system you know exactly what I mean.
My opinion is this system is very well put together. For the price it is decent in this day and age. I am quite happy with my purchase and I don't see having any issues with it in the future myself. This will satisfy gamers and miners either way.

Beast of a Machine!!!!

What a great value for the money and considering how overpriced parts are right now.I am really enjoying my new Omen.Plug & Play ,has a plethora of options to customize and a built in overclocking program. If your looking for 4K gaming or 1080P this is the one !! I had bought an iBuyPower i7 intel SlateMR213i GTX 1660 Ti and really enjoyed it but after about a week I knew I wanted more performance ,higher FPS and I found the HP Omen 30L AMD Ryzen7 5800X GeForce 3060Ti for a couple of hundred bucks more than the iBuyPower so I return it and got what I needed.I play WarZone for hours on end and haven’t ran into any over heating issues like some people have stated.I’m getting between 65-78 degrees Celsius Tops that’s not running the fans on turbo either. The model I have does come with Liquid cooling and the way I currently have my settings I’m getting 120-135 FPS with an average of 6-8 GPU ms and CPU ms on a MSI 323Artymus 32 inch curved monitor 144 Hrtz .You can also customize the RGB lighting.I haven’t tweaked it yet with the overclocking program but do plan to.Overall I’m extremely satisfied I exchanged my other one for this one!!! And I could still add more to this rig to upgrade its performance. If you’re planning on streaming while gaming you will need 32G of Ram it comes with 8G of VRAM which is plenty for smooth quality gameplay.Hope this helps someone.

A Beast of a Machine for Gamers and Beyond!

The HP OMEN Gaming Desktop has truly blown me away. Featuring the might of an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, coupled with a spacious 1TB SSD, this machine redefines gaming performance. It conquers the latest titles on ultra-settings with an agility that's hard to match, boasting load times so fast they're practically unreal.
What struck me immediately is its design - a sleek Jet Black facade that not only catches the eye but also slides seamlessly into any setup. The build quality is top-notch, and the touch of personalization brought by customizable RGB lighting adds a distinctive touch.
But let's talk about that cooling system. It's the real deal. Even after long gaming marathons, it keeps its cool, ensuring performance remains consistent, no matter how heated the action gets.
Now, the upgradability is where this desktop truly shines. They've made it a breeze to tinker with components, future-proofing your rig as your gaming aspirations evolve.
On the connectivity front, it's got you covered. A variety of ports make hooking up peripherals and monitors a breeze. And with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, going wireless is smoother than ever.
What's impressed me is the OMEN Command Center software - it's like the cockpit of a high-performance machine, letting you fine-tune settings, monitor performance, and even craft the perfect RGB aura to match your gaming mood.

I will keep this short and sweet. If you need a PC now, BUY IT and stop thinking. The only downside is the airflow. It's better than previous years but could still benefit from one more, well placed, fan. The parts are quality! Platinum PSU, custom AIO, RGB ram.... what more could you want? This thing is plenty fast and will 1080P game like nobody's business. HP spent more on this unit and it shows. Hands down, best pre-build I've seen from the HP Omen lineup.
