This is a good build overall, great value for todays market but could use some mods to improve the thermals. The build isn't perfect, but worth the money for the price. GPU: It's an OEM HP gpu, triple fan design and about 10.8 inch long. I was able to oc it with core+140, mem+450 and get a 18,000 in timespy GPU Bench. The TDP is locked at 320W, unless flashing into a different bios. In terms of mining, there is no Hashrate lock. STOCK thermal paste is terrible and you get over 110c in mem junc, After repasting, it can do 99mhs at core-400, mem+1400, TDP280, 60% fan at GPU core@64C, Mem junc@94C. room temp is 78f (25C). HP uses a reference design PCB and a EK RE water block will fit. CPU: water-cooled by a 140mm AIO, but it runs hot at 99C at full load. I repasted with mx4 and dropped the temp to around 86C. MOBO: There is limited bios options, doesn't support Resizable bar, no OC, no fan control. PSU: cooler-master 750w 80 plat, non modular. RAM: hyper x 8*2gb 3200mhz RGB, you can overclock it to like 3600ish in OMEN software. SSD: sn530. its the same thing as SanDisk Ultra The case has no room for a larger AIO so if you want serious thermal performance, you need to case swap.

As the title states The homemade HP 3080 looks like a lego block with glowing letters slapped on. The temperatures immediately spiked when trying to play a simple game. This thing is 2,000. - Shouldn’t have this power supply - should have used a bigger case - should have provided more than one intake fan. Seriously? One intake and two exhaust but basically 1.5 bc the second one is about 3 inches big and doesn’t work well. It shouldn’t be a requirement to re case and do this much work on a 2,000 computer that’s already marked way above what it should be. Looks like I’m returning a second PC… Probably trying Ibuypower next… they seem to provide adequate fans The cooling on this is laughable

I originally got a cyberpower but the gpu in it didn't work. As luck would have it my timing was perfect and this came up in stock. I purchased it and then watched a few videos online about it. I didn't realize my dad had an older version of this until I showed him a photo. I'm really impressed with this machine. Not easy to build these days so this was my option. I'd recommend this machine.

Mine came with a Gigabyte 3080 Kingston RAM and a Cooler Master 750w PSU. Have only ran a couple of games on it and it crushed Warzone and was fairly quiet in doing so. When I pushed MS Flight Sim 4k 100+ FPS it becomes quite loud and hits some thermal throttling. Cons: The back plate it held on with rivets so changing out the cooling for the CPU might take some work. No other places to add case fans to help with cooling though running it with side panel off did help. The included mouse and keyboard are just junk. I will update this review as I do more with the system just wanted to get somewhat of a parts list out there for people

This thing is a beast, runs most of what I throw at it over 100 FPS at 1440p. Did get hot at first but I added a few extra fans which reduced temp a bit.

All the things that other OEM prebuilts get wrong, HP gets right in this model. Dual channel overclockable RAM (3200 but with 1 click it's at 3467 with the built in software), a blazing 3080 and a water cooled 5800x, still runs hot but that's a trait of the 5800x (look into tweaking it, undervolting it if it bothers you), not the build. The 30L is still tight and you have to be careful about what 3rd party upgrades you can use, there's not a ton of room in there and not any spare headers for fans or peripherals. Had this for three months and haven't swapped anything out, that's the biggest comment I can make. Destroys AAA titles at stock settings on high/ultra, older titles (BF4, 1, 5) I cap at 200FPS, which it sticks to. 3080 has an OEM BIOS which slightly restricts overclocking it (can't increase the PL) and it's not RGB flashy, no bling, it's all function and form. Does what it is supposed to do, with excellence. Look on youtube for a 5800x/3080 combo for FPS benches in games, this set up will deliver that and more. CPU can be overclocked/tweaked through AMD software or the Omen hub. I did add another 1TB NVMe (it has 2 slots, one free) just because I had BB rewards that were nearing expiry, didn't 'need it', but got it anyway. RAM is hyperx fury RGB. Front cage has room and cables for 2x SATA additions if you need it. PSU is a 750w Platinum (Yes, PLATINUM) but not at all modular and with no extra cables beyond the SATA ones I just mentioned. Want a fire and forget gaming PC that will last 2 years plus at top frame rates in new games? Click on 'add to cart'.

I love the computer, HP really did a great job on this compared to dell which is a hot oven at this point. I wish we had access to more settings in bios. only con I have is HP gaming HUB overclocking access is totally broke. Going in to omen hub clicking overlocking its an endless loop "the required HP services can not be found. To resolve this, please click update button below" I follow the process and pc reboots and still the same message. No access to bios and the broken feature really is the reason I can't give 5 stars. HP should have this sorted out on a higher end machine like this.

Amazing machine for the price in the current market. Great version of this model with the (obviously) 5800X, 3080, but also a nice LED setup (including the RAM!), 120mm water cooler, etc. CPU could probably use a repaste, but I'll use it a bit more before deciding if it needs it or not. Getting around 75C on the CPU in Warzone at max settings. If you have been looking for a prebuilt with a 3080, I'm not sure you can do any better than this machine as of May 2021.

As of writing, this is the most viable way to get an RTX 3080. On the street, an RTX 3080 costs as much as this entire machine almost. If you’re looking for a 3080, this HP omen is up to snuff and performs very well considering what it packs. I highly suggest increasing airflow if you can, though, as I don’t think the small exhaust fan in the back is enough to tame this at full load.

Pros: comes with a water cooler. Cons: Power supply has no on/off switch. Case has a strange contraption to open. This would normally be fine but the likelihood that it becomes defective is quite great. The 3080 has no markings on it to say it's a 3080, since I could not get the computer to work I was suspicious. Says RTX Geforce only. The one I purchased arrived DOA.

This computer is a beast! The 3080 gpu inside can pretty much handle any game at high settings even 4K. I love it. Bought it for gaming and it is the best. There’s even an article online that ranks this pc as the best prebuilt for 2021 for gaming on a top ten list. This pc earns that top spot. Has pretty good parts too for a prebuilt. I am definitely pleased with my purchase.

GPU is pretty loud and gets hot quite fast while gaming. You might have to change the thermal pads to see better temps. The motherboard is proprietary, looks cheap.
