I am only an occasional gamer these days, but always want high performance out of my computers. This computer has blown me away so far even with the performance of microsoft office programs yet alone how it handles gaming itself. I play Final Fantasy XIV and have noticed a significant increase in how the game plays and the graphics are amazing. Thank you HP for a great product!

This is my first 'off the shelf' PC purchase and I really am amazed. I picked it up on a whim when it was on sale for $400 off, and could not be happier. It's whisper quiet and handles any task or game I throw at it. Great quality components, and it is designed for easy upgrading. I added a second 1TB SSD and it tool less than 10 minutes.

Takes on the most graphic intensive games with ease, plenty of hard drive space, and easy to set up and use. I do wish they had left more user-adjustability (overclocking) in the bios, but I also understand the perspective of keeping things simple for the average gamer.

This computer was on sale and was a phenomenal deal. I think it is a great compromise of cost vs performance if you can get it on sale. I was nervous at first because the initial setup had some glitches including a "Blue Screen of Death." Once all of the updates were completed, it started running well. I was a little disappointed by the speed of the video card and NVMe SSD.

I was skeptical at first since it doesnt look like it has a lot of airflow, but i discovered you can install a 120mm fan on top so i did and the cooling on this pc is great i got some noctua fans 80mm 92mm for the cpu and the 120mm its quiet as can be and playing at 4k 60 fps on alien isolation dead space 1 and 2 dead island, the computer stays under 55°C after about 2 hours of gameplay

Everything runs great! I was able to overclock at the start but the fans dont keep up and the gpu/cpu get over 80*C. Only down side is that it is a bit on the louder side (even after not over clocking). Ive been running pubg low setting around 160 fps and rainbow six siege around 200 fps. This can pull off streaming without costing you too many frames.

I got this PC very cheap when it was on sale. $1100! Right after I got it they were back up to $1500. With the 500 gig SSD the boot time is very fast. Plus it has plenty of room to install some games on. Very quiet fans and cool lighting effects are nice touches.

The PC is overall solid for gaming with a powerful NVIDIA GPU in the 2070 Super and powerful CPU in the intel i7-9700. I can run all of the latest games in at least 100 FPS at 1440p resolution, so no complaints at all in terms of gaming. One major issue for me though was the poor cooling design. As far as I could tell, there are only two case fans along with the CPU cooling fan. The 2700 Super would reach upwards of 85 celsius on demanding games and sometimes push further, which is incredibly hot for a NVIDIA GPU. That said, I never had any issues with the computer. No crashes during game, no GPU or display issues, etc. The design is sleek and very well done. The lighting looks great despite there not being much, and overall the case and design are some of the best I have seen. TL;DR: Decent gaming computer that will play the latest games and should last a while, but poor cooling design which may lead to high GPU temps and lower GPU life-cycle.

This is a highly capable, spacious machine that I bought for hobbyist video editing and comfortable game playing. And while the performance screams, the box myself stays quiet. Very satisfied.

I bought this because I needed a faster machine to keep up with the latest games because my old computer was getting sluggish at higher resolutions and couldn’t be upgraded any further. This thing is super fast and even boots up in under 10 seconds. The only issue I have with it is the built in sound card only has 2 channel stereo and it doesn’t have a built in optical drive so you’ll need to purchase a USB version of both if you want surround sound or an optical drive. Others have complained about it being noisy but it’s been pretty quiet for me even under a full load. I would have given it 5 stars but the afore mentioned sound card and lack of available PCIE slots means you cannot simply pop in an older sound blaster to fix its one real shortcoming.

I am a casual gamer who loves some current titles and I got this on a good deal; I saw that Best Buy was selling this for $ 1200 a couple of weeks ago and I got it immediately because I thought that the deal was too good to be true. It boots up in seconds and runs most games I own at 100+ fps on super ultra settings. I think I'll get a 1440p monitor or a QHD/UHD TV to go with this. It does have an occasional tendency to get hot though but this hasn't been a problem for me yet.

Would give it 5 stars but no DVD drive. I knew it when I bought it but needed to burn some videos on DVD and bought an external burner. Upgraded RAM to 64 Gb to help with 1080p and 4K video editing. Has worked great for over a year now.

I had been limping along with some older i5 - i7 computers and recently started watching for a good deal on a new tower, when this unit went on sale the deal was too good to pass up on. It is 'killer fast' AND is probably overkill for my needs (not a big gamer), however it's ability to handle multiple displays and apps comes in handy for watching and playing the stock market. This is my first HP computer, I hope it lasts as long as my older Dell's have.

Runs all the games I play at max settings. Get a consistent 150 frames playing smite and 240 from league of legends on this machine off the top of my head via the built in WiFi. Offline games run perfect. The top front usb ports are at a weird angle and the power plug is a little loose but other than that no real gripes here.

Reliable machine. Could be the last computer you ever purchase. Load it with memory, 64MB to 128MB, and add additional storage, up to 2TB. May need an external drive for backing up your data.

Great beginning gaming desktop: Fast loading lighting can be set to different levels Would liked to have a media card reader, but can easily buy an external one to use

I switched from my aging machine to something that was compatible with current video games. The 512 GB SSD has more than enough room, and the RTX 2070 Super handles all of my games with plenty of headspace left over! You can't go wrong if you own other HP equipment - it connects beautifully! Very satisfied so far!

Wish it had a DVD ROM The big thing is it always wants to write to the c drive and the D drive it bigger (data) If H.P. could have done this different it would be better at least for me. Graphics are outstanding compared to my last H.P. fast frame rates playing WOT's fps are around 240. I added a USB plug for more plugins seeing that everything is now USB. Also added an external DVD drive R/W blue-ray. other then that my last H.P. was purchased in 2011 and lasted till 2/02 2020 so I did get my moneys worth out of it. I have been buying H.P. for a long while so I hope this helps everone out.
