Great gaming laptop

But in seriousness, this laptop is pretty powerful and would recommend for new gamers.

Despite making every possible tweak to improve it, I was never able to get over 2 hours. Combine that with the build and screen quality that don’t quite measure up to other premium brands - it ended up being a return for me. I don’t recommend at this price point. Maybe $1600-$1800.

The keyboard has amazing feel and the screen size is awesome while staying lightweight and portable. Great buy.

I didn't even get to the point where I was playing games. I turned it on and updated, BSOD. Ok, finally got it to update. I also updated the drivers. Download and start a game from Steam, BSOD. Maybe I had a bad version, but I ended up returning and buying an Asus. The screen was also very mediocre for a laptop this expensive. Should not have to play around with immediate BSOD's on a brand new laptop.

Where when I boot it up the screen will just stay black instead of come on so I have to figure away around it. It does this just about every time.

Constantly crashes and restarts for no reason. Received it today and it crashed exactly 6 times on start up alone. Several after I got past that. I was extremely excited for this laptop. It was open box so I can’t entirely fault HP for it but I can’t bring myself to get another one. Sticking with asus.

HP should be a good for quality.
