I'm pretty picky about laptops - I want a good solid build, comfortable keyboard, fast, affordable, and minimal fan noise. Honestly HP has exceeded my expectations on all of these with this laptop. I'd say the build quality on this is near MacBook quality - but unlike a MacBook you get a touchscreen and useful ports like HDMI and two USB A, in additional to the 2 USB C and headphone jack. This laptop does have a fan but it is usually silent or very quiet. The main drawback is the limited amount of memory (8 GB) but for what I use this laptop for (web browsing, word processing, music, youtube), I'm happy with it.

Got this laptop for school and so far, it does everything I need it to. Super easy to use. I like the touch screen capabilities.

It's light and I like the flip design. I only have 4 stars because I've never run the battery hard. It is only an i5 and I've been using an i7 with a little more speed on another machine

my old chromebook i had only a few years and the hinges were giving out even though i only used to open and shut the computer not use in notepad mode. it took me a bit to get used to this laptop and its running system but i figured it out quickly and use it mainly for my online college classes. its very easy to navigate and light.

For the price, a very decent all-in-one laptop. Very responsive, very clear touchscreen. Very stappy processor and memory. Perfect size for a college laptop. My daughter is loving it!!!

Don’t let the low pricing fool you. This computer is great. I use it at home, at work, and even when I’m writing scripts. I love how I can flip it around and use it like a tablet.

This laptop is great for school and anyone that wants to get work done and they don't want to do it on there phone. I love the touchscreen that's a bonus plus on top of that it flips over which is epic. Overall this is a really nice laptop for really anyone

It should have been a 5*. But the weight of laptop crunched the rating a bit. Sound would have been a bit better. Brightness as well. But keep in mind the battery is excellent. So a bit compromise on any other stuff is irrelevant. Worth every penny. Overall the best laptop I got in years. I am not a huge fan of HP but this one is amazing. I got this for deal $399. So I am very happy.

Got this for a really good price right around back to school time. Local store didn't have it in stock at the time but were super helpful in assisting me in ordering it for store delivery (which happened in just a few days). Plenty of firepower for my needs. Versatile with the 2 in 1 flip function. All in all a solid purchase!

Very good laptop, not heavey, nice design and good processor.

There is only one thing that I am unhappy about with this laptop and that is that you cannot upgrade the RAM it is pretty slow which can get very frustrating. I made the bad assumption that I could upgrade it before I purchased it and did not find out till afterwards which is my bad I returned one that had a small dent in the case and noticed that this one has a small crack in the back but I was done returning. It's well package so I don't understand what happened but I can live with a little split. I would say that probably happened at the factory because it was obvious it had never been opened The price was right as it was on Memorial Day sale and I just needed something small. I probably would have bypassed it had I known about the ram but it'it is what it is. I love the keyboard and the screen and the fact that you can flip it. I'll do what I can to speed it up but stuck on the 8 GB

What a great computer runs multiple applications while maintaining speed and processing power to handle a variety of different tasks. Battery is pretty good. Sound is pretty good. All in all very good.

This is a great do-it-all computer. It's obviously not for heavy gaming or graphics intensive things, but you know that at this price. As I type this now, I'm in my home office connected to two additional external monitors streaming shows on one screen and with 15 tabs open on the other, and there's no lag or hesitation at all. Then when I want to sit on the couch, I can flip it around and use it like a tablet, and never have to worry about battery life. I probably only plug it in to charge every few days. It has a great screen, and the bezels honestly are pretty small compared to other touch screen laptops I've used in the past. The materials feel premium and it just feels solid and durable. I've had it for 3 months now and look forward to years more of enjoying it. You won't be disappointed.

I bought this laptop during a promotion at a great price, and it’s been an excellent choice for casual use and students. The 360° flip design lets you use it as both a laptop and a tablet. It’s lightweight yet powerful for the price, making it a fantastic value.

This laptop has about the same specs as the very old desktop it’s replacing. I had to buy a disk drive for it. I upgraded to Windows Pro and it was very quickly restored to my settings and preferences of mentioned desktop. I don’t find the tablet mode practical for me due to its size and weight. It has the option for facial recognition as well as pin. The trackpad and keyboard are fantastic as far as responsiveness and comfort. The backlight keyboard and screen are great for my usage. I would recommend this as an affordable transportable computer for typing documents on the go without losing the comfort of a regular keyboard size. The sound is adequate.for light YouTube videos in my opinion. I like the physical camera block and how the screen is set to lock up as soon as you leave. The upgrades were faster than expected. I like how it has two USB A and two USB C ports as one is for charging. It has an earphone jack and an HDMI port which I have not used.
