Build quality is very nice for a mid-range laptop. Absolutely love the keyboard-typing is a dream. Trackpad is a bit sensitive but I use a mouse often anyway. Screen definitely looks nice especially for something that isn’t OLED. Set up was easy and speeds for various tasks so far seem to be good. Battery life is sufficient and charging is quick. Lots of ports for everything I need but they do tend to hold onto anything I put in with a death grip. Occasional glitches on edge but it could be a browser issue rather than the machine itself. Overall for someone who doesn’t need a laptop for anything fancy this machine has been great.

I had high hopes for this HP OmniBook 5 Flip, but after using it, there are a couple of important drawbacks that anyone doing creative work should know.
The biggest issue is the screen. The display looks pale and washed out, almost overly white which makes it unsuitable for people who draw, illustrate, design, or do any kind of color-sensitive creative work. The colors just don’t look accurate or vibrant, and that really affects the overall experience.
The other major problem is the heat. The laptop becomes extremely hot even after just 30 minutes, whether I’m multitasking or simply checking email. The heat builds up fast and makes the device uncomfortable to use, and it raises concerns about long-term performance.
Battery life is okay, but not impressive enough to make up for the other issues.
Overall, even though the specs look promising, the washed-out display and overheating make this laptop a poor choice for anyone who needs good color accuracy or does creative work like drawing or design.

This pc did exactly what I wanted it to do. It livestreamed Back to the Beginning flawlessly. The only 3 small glitches were on their end. Millions of people watched Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne play their last show live around the world. That was the whole reason for buying this laptop. Then I flipped the screen around and used it like a tablet. I went a little over my budget, so I love it a little too much.

Excellent computer at a very good price. It's for my parents and so far they've really enjoyed it. It's fast and the 512 GB SSD is more than enough for their needs. It was simple to set up. The screen is a bit small for older eyes but a separate, larger monitor takes care of that. Definitely recommend.
