I overbought for my usual needs but I'm delighted with my purchase. I've have no issues or complaints, in fact I'm considering another one as gift.

Needed to replace my wife's aging laptop that was incapable of upgrading to windows 11. We spent an hour discussing her needs for personal and professional use cases. Store sales associate was competent and professional as we evaluated the brands and models, ultimately settling on the OmniBook Ultra with a very attractive sale price not yet broadly announced. He also reminded us to pick up a USB hub for connectivity when she is working at her desk. Great sales support as always at Best Buy.

- The fans turns on loudly when gaming. - Only 2 USBC and 1 USBA - Keyboard may only support up to 4 key press from experience.

Space bar on the keyboard requires you to hit it in a certian area to register. Blue screen during first boot and after all drivers, firmare and OS update, still seen BOSD every so often. Specs, size and battery life gives keeps it from hiting 0 stars.

So far it has been very fast in terms of wifi service. I use A lot of data within my everyday job and the 2TB and more memory has been worth it

great battery life and a super fast CPU. The multi-core score is off the charts for the price and cost.

It’s a very good laptop, however it gets frozen when I tried to open 2-3 instances of an IDE. The only option left will be to hard boot the device

Sleek and very well built. Runs low end games good considering the lack on dedicated graphics card.

Best Buy Let me down. HP Screen developed vertical line pixel failure in first month. Sent to Best Buy Service Center from West Madison, WI store for repair and new screen. When I received it back they had put the wrong screen in and there was no touch screen feature. Computer as sent out again for a Service Center REDO, after it was out another 10 days I was notified I was eligible for replacement. Had to scheduled another appointment with the Geek Squad. They refused to credit my personal credit card that I bought the item with. Given in store gift card credit. Went back on-line that day found the same lap tap at that store that they indicated was in stock and would be ready in an hour. Used the Gift Card. One hour later notified that the lap top was no longer available and I had to cancel the order. Was going to drive and pick up another laptop at a store 40 mins away and learned that even though the order was cancelled today the Gift Card would not be recredited for 24 hours so I am again without a computer due to Best Buys error. Summary: HP screen failure to start with , Best Buy Service Center put on the wrong screen for warranty work and then Redo work never gets completed. What a mess: 3 trips to the Geek Squad, Weeks without the Computer, Refused to credit the credit card I bought the laptop with, Advertised that that they have an item in stock and an hour later they don't after I have purchased it and then they tell me I have to wait 24 more hours to get the gift card re-credited. This was an utter an complete failure of customer service from Best Buy.

Bought open-box. In terms of specs, this should outclass m2 16gb (my old laptop) in premiere pro. On full resolution at 4k, my m2 could handle 4k editing pretty fine with some occasional stuttering. However, with this HP: the video editing playback at full res was awful with video flickering and timeline stuttering. Imagine a 2 year old mac with half as much ram performing better than a 32gb next gen amd chip/ On internet, once in a while the trackpad would go unresponsive. And would low pages slower than m2. Design wise, the keyboard and trackpad is unattractive. I’m returning it. Wouldn’t reccomend.
