This was an open box purchase and it was indeed as advertised in excellent condition. The Omnibook X product is so nice and been a good tech investment and easy experience so far (Purchased about 7 weeks ago). I have two monitors, keyboard, mouse, and sound system wired into an HP USB-C G5 docking station and this laptop handles everything with ease. BTW, the laptop image quality is outstanding.

In mu opinion this is a mid range device thats packed with premium features. The one big pro that stood out was the battery 26h + was very good. The screen is a decent 2.2k res. The facial recognition is respsonsive (a premium feature) the sound is HORRIBLE there is a high whisper pitch at the highest volume. I can say the fan sound is very low, even with high usage but the sound was a deal breaker for me. I biught it today and returning it tmrw lol i will be getting a Mac which was my original choice. Sticking to what I know BEST

I was looking for a notebook from HP with a cutting-edge processor, 1TB of storage capacity and 16GB of memory, but mainly with a battery that would last all day. The vast majority of notebooks lasted for 10 hours, even considering other brands. To my surprise, I came across this notebook, with Qualcomm's top-of-the-line processor and an incredible 26-hour battery life. I didn't think twice and even took advantage of the discount advertised. Very happy with the purchase.

As an early adopter of technology I am always aware that mileage will vary when buying a first generation machine. However, given the lessons of the last 20+ years, I did expect a better showing for the first series of AI powered machines. Let's start from the top - the machines will have issues connecting to networks, especially if WPA3 is not enabled (mine is a Google mesh set up). The CPU experiences serious lag as compared to conventional legacy Intel/AMD units. Random files are dumped onto the desktop (GPUcache and other folders just appear) Multiple broken links to shortcuts (Zoom, MS Teams, etc) Just a hard sell on what should be a smooth transition into the next leg of laptops and desktop models. The size, KB comfort, screen size, touch sensitivity and brightness all seem to hit the mark. The adapter is as advertised and juices the unit quickly and is a smaller form factor than most, though an Anker unit will still be my go to adapter. Weight, feel and balance are all in line with expectations as well. I would like to see more units with less bloatware though this is better than in years ago as well - perhaps a start up option asking what we want to keep versus laying it all down and forcing a manual removal of xbox, McAfee, etc could solve for this. The unit is not one that seems to run hot under load which is also a plus, speaker volume and quality are reasonable though not mind shattering by any stretch. As more AI enabled capabilities come online I will update this review with more specifics and hope the update backlog addresses some of the current performance concerns. But at this price point for the latest ARM chip and AI offer, I am hard pressed to go more than 3 stars.

I recently purchased the HP OmniBook X Copilot PC, and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations! This laptop is a perfect blend of power, portability, and style, making it an ideal choice for both professionals and casual users. **Design and Build Quality:** The Meteor Silver finish gives the laptop a sleek and modern look, while the 14.2-inch 2K touch screen is absolutely stunning. The display is vibrant and sharp, making it a joy to use for both work and entertainment. The build quality is solid, and the laptop feels premium in hand. **Performance:** Powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor, this laptop is a beast when it comes to performance. Whether I'm multitasking, editing videos, or running demanding software, the OmniBook X handles everything with ease. The 16GB of memory ensures smooth operation, and the 1TB SSD provides ample storage space along with lightning-fast boot and load times. **Portability:** One of the standout features of this laptop is its portability. It's incredibly lightweight and thin, making it easy to carry around. Despite its slim profile, the battery life is impressive, easily lasting through a full day of work without needing a charge. **User Experience:** The touch screen is responsive and adds an extra layer of convenience, especially when navigating through apps or drawing. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, and the trackpad is precise and smooth. The inclusion of Copilot features is a nice touch, enhancing productivity and making everyday tasks more efficient. **Connectivity:** The laptop comes with a good selection of ports, ensuring that I can connect all my peripherals without any hassle. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity are reliable and fast, which is essential for me

This is the BEST windows laptop I have ever purchased. The battery life surpasses anything I have owned before. Once I unpacked it from the box, I immediately calibrated the battery. Once that was completed, I had a laptop that was rated at 16 hours. I have never owned a windows laptop that could go that far. The SnapDragon Elite CPU far surpasses Intel and AMD. This is the way of the future for Windows 11 laptops.

Confirmed perfect and unusable at the same time

As other online reviewers, with a million+ subscribers pointed out - I am confirming in my use case - Perfect and unusable at the same time. I ended up returning it because of a defective charging - there are two usb c ports and charging through both of them was at least inconsistent, tried first one at the very beginning during the windows setup - did not charge, plugged into second - it worked. Next time first port worked as well. My remarks: 1. instant on, that is what I wanted to experience on a Windows laptop. I had a ton of x86 laptops and never ever opening the lid would instantly show login screen if not connected to power. Also, battery usage with closed lid (and presumably laptop in sleep mode) is lower than x86 per my experience. 2. AI NPU unit is not used at all, not only here but in all latest AI cpu, maybe marginally but nowhere near the capabilities of local tokenization with interaction with AI chats. Also, Copilot button opens standalone app that in my findings works must slower than same one in the Edge browser. And why did they remove ctrl button, why not alt, at least make it configurable, which key copilot replaces. 3. Emulation - on one side I am very impressed that Microsoft manage to pull it through to the extent my daily usage does not suffer a lot (office, spreadsheet, databases). I managed to install 25 year old Filemaker Pro 5 and it works totally fine, around 2 times slower than on AMD Ryzen 7940HS but again it works. With current version of Filemaker Pro (cross platform database, windows, mac silicon, no native arm on windows) it is maybe three times slower, I suspect some issues with disk performance contributes there. So yeah, it can be a deal breaker, and it was. Compared to Mac silicon introduction Apple emulation was much better, Filemaker was on par with Intel Mac before they introduced Mac silicon version, which is now up to twice faster than Windows version. 4. Gaming - I attached my external Steam library and tried just 3D Mark Time Spy. It needed some time to "emulate" at the beginning, and then it worked fine, slower, much slower than I expected, although I run it on a battery in balance mode just to test, scored just 1789 (1625 gpu, 4191 cpu) I did not know about 3D Mark test that works fine on arm. 5. Time Spy runs practically silent and cool like everything else. 30 years ago I studied risc cpu architecture that is behind all of this and finally it is (almost) usable on a PC. 6. Battery life is not that great when you push it, but overall, it does not spend battery when unused like x86 counterparts, and for me instant on is a spot on. 7. I would never pay msrp price, that is way overpriced for what it offers, got a deal for $700 open box. 8. It did not want to connect to Google Nest Wifi for unknown reason, password is correct, response was - can't connect. I use a different router for testing (Xfinity) and that one works just fine, but my printers and other computers are all on a different wifi so when I tried to connect to my surprise it did not want to! After connecting it to a third wifi (mobile phone hotspot) and then back to the same wifi it worked?! Not sure what happened, but it worked fine after that. 9. Fit and finish is debatable, screen and keyboard are subpar but passable. 10. Performance wise - very good if native, LM Studio is able to do up to 12 tokens/second. That is way better than AMD or intel offer without nvidia discrete help. And that was a kind of a revelation in overall experience since local large language model interaction and response was (mostly) instant, silent and cool (temperature wise), with ai response generation much faster than you can read (I think threshold is 5-6 tokens/sec).
