Customer Ratings & Reviews

I’ve been using this laptop for a few months now, and overall, I’m really happy with it. It handles everyday tasks like browsing the internet, watching videos, doing schoolwork, and using multiple applications at once without any major issues. One thing I like most is how fast it starts up and loads programs. Everything feels smooth, and I rarely experience lag during normal use. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, which is important since I spend a lot of time working on assignments and writing documents. The screen looks clear and bright enough for watching movies or completing work, and the battery life lasts several hours on a single charge. It’s also lightweight enough to carry around without feeling like a burden. There are a few things that could be improved. The speakers are decent but not amazing, and the laptop can get a little warm when running demanding programs or games. However, these aren’t major problems for me. Overall, I think this laptop offers great value for the price. It’s reliable, easy to use, and performs well for both school and everyday activities. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable laptop without spending too much money.

Strongly praise for its performance, light weight design and battery life. Good for school users and personal work. Good value. On heavy load observed heating and fan noise

I recently purchased the HP OmniBook X Flip 2‑in‑1, and my experience has been excellent so far. The design is lightweight and stylish, especially in the Atmospheric Blue color, which makes it easy to carry for school and work. The 14” 2K touch screen is sharp, responsive, and great for switching between laptop and tablet modes. Performance has been smooth thanks to the Intel Core Ultra 5 and 16GB of memory. It starts up quickly, handles multiple apps without slowing down, and stays quiet during use. I also appreciate how well it manages heat. Battery life lasts several hours, which is perfect for long study or work sessions. The 512GB SSD provides plenty of storage for documents, photos, and apps. Overall, this laptop is versatile, fast, and reliable for everyday tasks.

This laptop has a powerful battery life and portability. The touchscreen feature and 2-1 ability are great additions. If you're a college student like me, this laptop will be more than enough for all your needs. 16GB RAM & 512GB SSD provides excellent performance. Also was very affordable when I bought it. Highly recommend!

[Employee of bestbuy] This is one of the best laptops ive ever owned. I'm a programmer and normally I use a macbook, but this thing works like a charm and I actually prefer this to that. Its fairly light weight, super portable, the flip feature comes in handy a lot too. The only real issue is its running windows 11 which is full of bloatware and other stupid useless AI garbage microsoft is putting in that does slow your machine down, but I downloaded a tool to get rid of that and it works perfectly after that

I purchased this laptop for my personal use. I am retired and needed a smaller laptop to take with me on travel and for use at my volunteer endeavours. This HP was the perfect choice. It is small - but not too small, and the screen can be tilted all the say back and used as a presentation screen for vounteer meetings. It can handle all of the designwork that I do on Canva and documents used through word and XLS. I love the lightweight compact size and the battery life is exceptiona.

I’ve been using the HP OmniBook X Flip for a while now, and it honestly feels like it was built around my daily routine. I can switch it into tablet mode when I want to sketch or take notes, and it handles everything from heavy multitasking to casual streaming without breaking a sweat. It’s super light too, so carrying it around is no hassle. It just fits seamlessly into both my work and downtime—and that’s rare to find in a laptop.

Loving the HP Omnibook 14 — super portable and the 2-in-1 touchscreen is really handy for work and Netflix. Performance is smooth with lots of tabs open, though the battery could be a little better. Overall, it feels like great value for the price and I’m using it every day.

Excellent replacement for my old HP. Very compact and fast. Love how fast it boots up. Very sleek and modern design.

I purchased this laptop a little under a month ago and the performance is wonderful, I did at first think i would be receiving a pen to go along side the laptop but I didn not which is not a big problem for me. The battery does last around a day from my experience, it also takes downloads well. The only issue I’ve faced for far would me the laptop loading slowly when launching apps, other than that I love it!

I picked up the HP OmniBook X Flip as a lightweight laptop for school, work, and everyday use — and it has honestly exceeded every expectation. The first thing that impressed me was the design. The Atmospheric Blue finish looks even better in person, and the whole machine feels premium without being heavy. It’s easy to carry around, and the 14" 2K touch display is sharp, vibrant, and smooth whether I’m watching videos, drawing, or multitasking. The new Intel Core Ultra 5 226V has been way better than I expected for real‑world performance. Apps open quickly, multitasking feels effortless, and it stays cool and quiet even during heavier workloads. Paired with the 16GB of RAM, it handles dozens of tabs, note‑taking, streaming, and light creative work without slowing down. The Copilot+ features built in are actually useful too — from summarizing documents to generating quick drafts and helping with research. The 2‑in‑1 flexibility is a huge plus. The hinge feels sturdy, and I’ve already gotten used to flipping it into tablet mode for handwriting notes and browsing. Touch input is responsive, and the screen is bright enough for use in class or a coffee shop. Battery life has been excellent so far. I can easily get through a full day of classes and some homework on a single charge. The 512GB SSD is fast and plenty for my needs, and boot times are basically instant. Overall, this is one of those laptops that feels like it was designed for people who actually use their device all day — lightweight, fast, flexible, and reliable. If you need a solid 2‑in‑1 with great performance and a premium feel, this OmniBook is a fantastic choice.

The laptop was amazing. It was suitable for my research paper work and multitasking. The audio was also good for zoom meetings. The battery last longer than expected. I bought it on sale that’s why I’m so satisfied.

Awesome speed and overall performance. Extremely light and feels durable. Copilot works great. Keys are big and bold, and backlit display is a major plus

absoloute best computer ive ever bought! the touchscreen is super responsive and can run everything i need it to, on top of having tons of great features.

Honestly amazing laptop I can work pretty heavy loads on this thing and I can play practically any modern game on low graphics which is the only negative but still extremely playable also for the price it's seriously undervalued definitely one of the best purchases I've made recently very happy with build quality battery life nit brightness thunderbolt ports everything is very good

The laptop is great and the backlight feature works well. The lid is hard to open which is the only negative I see. It games ok but that is not the intent of this laptop so it performs its roll perfectly as a student laptop. The build is solid and the design is sleek. I rarely use the touchscreen but it is a nice feature and works well especially when in tablet mode. I’ve had it for 3 weeks so I am unable to attest to it’s longevity but it feels good.

Great laptop for day to day use. Watch out for deals from best buy some time they give upto 400 dollar off. I have paid with best buy card which got me back around 10% discount. This laptop is best for day to day use. relatively light weight . I feel best buy should sell , laptop + screen protector +. keyboard proctector to use in flip mode

Out of everything in store that compares, this unit is your best option at this point. It is beautiful, I love the deep blue, looks like a jewelry piece. The keyboard is excellent, it feels good to type, I don't seem to make mistakes while I type, the letters on the keys are clearly visible no matter what time of day, and they are back lit for nighttime. The track pad feels good, nice soft quiet click, it is accurate, and the palm rejection is excellent, the cursor doesn't jump around the page while I type. 14 inch is the perfect size, I love the 16:10 aspect ratio. It is snappy, doesn't lag, the battery lasts a really long time. for $700 this is a good choice and a great value. Recommended. For the negatives: It is thick, and it feels heavy, it is not as portable as it looks like. The display is where they cut corners here. It is plenty bright, but 2K is not enough sharp. Text can look fuzzy and when watching movies, it better be a new modern recording for it to look good, older movies doesn't look good on this display. You need to look at the display straight for it not to look washed out. It has issues displaying reds, everything red looks more like orange. If you don't have anything to compare it to, you will never notice, the display on this HP will look good to you. But when I put it side by side with my MacBook from 2019, then I can see how much better the display on the old Apple machine looks. Content looks sharper, better contrast, more dynamic range, and better colors on the Apple MacBook M1. Comparison is the thieve of joy. Conclusion, this is more of a $500 machine, if you are going to invest $700 on this HP machine, I would recommend instead to get a MacBook Air M4 for $900 on sale. Below are sample images of this machine next to my MacBook so you can see the difference in display. As you can see, the older MacBook from 2019 display looks like it was OLED with deep blacks because of the excellent anti-reflection coating that Apple uses. The Mac display produces better colors that are truer to life. Hopefully this helps.

We bought this laptop for college and so far we’re really impressed. It’s lightweight, fast, and the 2-in-1 design is a great feature for a student. The touchscreen is responsive, and the 14-inch size makes it easy to carry around campus without sacrificing screen space. With 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage, it has plenty of power and space for schoolwork, browsing, streaming, and everyday use. The blue color is also really nice in person. Overall, it feels like a great combination of performance, portability, and versatility for a college student.

I really like the flexibility of switching between laptop and tablet modes, and the battery life has been excellent for my daily use. The display looks sharp, the keyboard is comfortable, and it handles everything I need without slowing down. Overall, it's been a great purchase, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality 2-in-1 laptop.
