I was shopping for a convertible touchscreen, 2-in-1 with stylus support, that had decent processor speeds, Windows Home 11, decent at a decent price. This was on sale for about %40 off, has backlit keyboard that can be turned on/off, face recognition, among others. Even though Home does not come equipped with BitLocker, Windows 11 Home still offers a very simple way to encrypt the laptop. i bought this for my side gig and had purchased an ACER laptop about a year earlier for personaL use. the HP is much sturdier, has longer battery life, and screen is infinitely more clear and crisp. At $550, this is a steal.

I had to make a last minute purchase of a lap top and this has worked out really well for me. It's light weight and I like that it has the touch screen feature. The mouse is only "meh". I use it for grad school and it's very convenient. The battery lasts a long time. I recently used it to stream a show and the picture was very clear. For the cost it is an excellent option for someone that uses it for school.

I’m a student, and this laptop has been perfect for my needs. It runs smoothly, starts up fast, and handles all my schoolwork without any problems. The battery life is solid, and the screen is clear and bright. It’s lightweight enough to carry around campus, and I haven’t had any issues so far. Overall, I really like it and definitely recommend it for other students!

Very good with a few very big issues. What you will love: Flips to a tablet (includes kickstand mode for easily keeping it up right). Pen support (unfortunately not included). The GPU can run some decent games at playable frame rates. The keyboard is honestly more comfortable to type on than I was expecting. The screen is sharp with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Hard Drive is replaceable. The build quality is top notch and rivals the MacBook Air. The Battery Life will go a good 12 hours in many situations. What you likely won’t like. RAM is soldered on the chip and that means all you’re going to have is 16 Gigs. The GPU shares the main RAM and dynamically allocates between 4 and 8 gig to the GPU. That means your games could run out of RAM or VRAM. Even when using an external GPU, the computer wouldn’t release the minimal 4 Gigs that were allocated to the GPU and this was not something it allowed me to change for some bizarre reason. Would I recommend this? If you’re just looking at this as an alternative to a MacBook Air and you want it to do similar things for less money? Absolutely! In many ways it is a better MacBook Air than the MacBook Air. If you want it as a part time gaming solution or for creating content, I would skip this and look for Omnibook X models that have either the Ryzen 7 AI 350 or the Intel Core Ultra 258V as that is the same as this with double the RAM.

The screen is the first thing you notice. The 16" 2K touch display looks really clean and sharp. Text is crisp, videos look great, and scrolling feels smooth. I didn’t think I’d care about touch that much, but for quick stuff (scrolling, tapping around, signing PDFs), it’s actually convenient. Performance-wise, it’s been fast for normal use. I usually have a bunch of Chrome tabs open, YouTube playing, and Word/Excel going at the same time and it doesn’t feel laggy. Also stays pretty quiet, the fan doesn’t randomly scream unless you’re really pushing it. The flip hinge feels solid. I was worried a 16" 2-in-1 would feel wobbly, but it’s sturdy. Tent mode is perfect on a table/bed when you’re watching something.

This laptop does all I need it to do. Very fast and the images are crisp and clear. Touch screen is a nice bonus, didn't think I'd use it but now I can't imagine not having it. SSD is a little small but will be fine. Good battery life, seems to last quite a while between charges.

I’m really impressed with the Omni Bookx. It runs super smooth, boots up quickly, and handles multitasking with no problem. The screen is sharp and clear, and the battery lasts much longer than I expected. It’s lightweight but still feels sturdy, which makes it great for carrying around. Overall, a fantastic laptop for the price—I’m very happy with my purchase!

I really like this laptop. To begin its a 16 inch laptop, it is pretty big and the frame of it is durable especially since you can flip the laptop, which I personally don't do often. The keyboard might seem a little weird or too big as other laptops might have smaller keys and the numpad on the side but isntead your given bigger keys with speaker grills on the side of the laptop. This might deter you away from the laptop which almost made me but a day or two later from typing on it I instantly adapted to the style and I currently write how I do on any other keyboard. The CPU is great, it can run any office work, it can play games such as GTA 5, Fortnite, Roblox, at the correct settings and the RAM and GPU isn't a let down. I bought this laptop when it was on sale around $550. This laptop tends to drop down to $600 so if you were looking into this laptop I would wait until it reaches that $600 mark. Overall, this laptop is amazing especially looking at the price to performance ratio.

Easy setup, fast speed for the need, easy access and light weight for travel and home use. Staff was helpful but did not try to over sell. On line help beneficial, directions straight forward even for some one not tech savvy. Enjoying brighter screen and easy touch system. Geek Squad supportive and easily accessible, Overall, very satisfied with purchase.

I’ll be honest: I’m not super technical when it comes to laptops, so I usually rely on my husband, who works in IT, to help me choose the right one. He compared this model with several others in the same price range and immediately told me this was the best value for what you get. From my perspective, it’s fast, easy to use, and handles everything I need without any issues. From his perspective, the specs, performance, and overall build quality are impressive for the price. He said you’d normally have to spend more to get the same features elsewhere. If you’re like me and don’t know exactly what to look for, but want something reliable that’s been vetted by someone who does know—this is a great pick.

I love this laptop so much! I needed a new one for online classes I was taking and this one was on sale at bestbuy for $529 and it was an absolute steal!!!! It's super fast, even while simultaneously running multiple tasks, looks amazing and the touch screen is super convenient

The best laptop that I ever had, perfect size, speed and battery life are very good

Got it for a great price! This lightweight laptop has been perfect for everyday tasks. The battery life is pretty good and even though it is an i5, I haven't noticed any performance bottlenecks. Works perfectly for Linux users!

I am replacing my old hp laptop with this Omni book. I love that it isn’t much larger in overall size but that the screen goes from one edge to the other. The touch screen, backlit keyboard and flip properties are nice luxuries.

Quality laptop. Metal case is tough yet still looks and feels good. Charges quicly and holds the charge very well. Touchscreen is a bit tricky to get used to. Controlled by using different gestures. Wish there was a bit of space between screen and outer edge. Almost impossible to not touch the screen when adjusting the screen angle. Moiusepad is tricky to get used to as well due to there not being a distinct right/left click. One finger click for a left click and two finger click for a right click. Mousepad is also quite large so it's easy to drag your hand/wrist and make unintentional cursor movements. You get used to it after sometime though. Computer is phenominal once acclimated with the design and functions. Multi-tasks very well and doesn't lose speed whilst performing multiple high memory usage applications. Felt like a 6/10 until I got used to it which changed that to a current 9/10.

This laptop is heavier than my last HP laptop. It holds a half terabyte and half that capacity was filled with the copy over of two low capacity laptops. I wanted a 1 terabyte laptop, but was persuaded that this laptop was the way to go. It was hard to find copied over items, but after Total Tech set up, the laptop synced well with iPhone and iCloud email almost effortlessly. The battery life is amazing because my last HP laptop would only hold a charge for about two hours. Overall I am pleased with it.

This HP Omni Book X is a user friendly laptop/tablet. There are three things that bug me - 1. Have to hold power button to shut off and on and hard to know until finally light comes on. Seems to take a long time 2. Power cord outlet is only on left side. 3. No memory stick outlet.

I started with the Lenovo yoga, but after a week, the screen went black, so I went back and got this one instead to replace it, and I am so happy with it. It has Face ID, the keyboard is very comfortable, and that’s touch screen is very very responsive, so it’s perfect. The display is very nice, and battery life is IMPRESSIVE I bought it for school, and I’m so excited to use it, great job HP
