I have been very impressed with this unit. Especially the wireless keyboard and mouse. It is comparably small and light weigh for a desk computer. It set up quickly and easily, and works well. I just wish I knew more about Windows 11 or at least where to find more information on how to use it most effectively.

The HP OmniDesk Desktop AMD computer tower has been a good solution to achieve a dedicated station for my latest analog video capturing process. I did the initial startup and downloaded a couple softwares in an evening. That process took as long as I expected and once it was up and running, everything worked quickly and efficiently. I like that the set-up gave me the option to bring over all the settings from my Microsoft account like dark mode and accent color. It’s convenient that this bundle comes with the necessary AAA batteries to power the included keyboard and mouse, which are very easy to connect and start using. The available ports on the front of the tower are great for connecting my external SSD, HDD, and USB capture hardware. I somewhat regularly transfer 50+GB of JPGs, RAW files, and 2K video files, so having easily accessible USB-A / USB-C ports with 10Gbps & 5Gbps signaling data rates is ideal for transfers. The rest of the ports like HDMI, Display and additional USB ports are accessible on the back of the unit; this is where I connected the mouse USB dongle. As far as RAM and storage go, this system provides the medium and mid-range specs. The 16GB RAM is able to run heavy applications like OBS Studio, granted I’m capturing and not streaming, and I’ve even opened up Premiere Pro as OBS was running and started editing a video. I haven’t noticed any significant slow downs. When I ran Premiere Pro and OBS Studio at the same time, I heard the CPU/fan running a little harder. But that would be expected given the specs (16GB RAM) and considering I was running two moderate to heavy programs at once, meaning the CPU is working hard. This middle of the road computer is a great option for most people, especially if you’re going to use the internet, create or store documents, use it to store videos/pictures, play movies and even a little more than that like using a heavy application or two. If that sounds like your use case, the 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage is likely enough for you. I have a lot of large video /photo RAW files, etc. so 1TB isn’t enough in the long run, but I’m the type of file collector who has about 8TB of files stored externally (which is why I’m considering additional storage). If you don’t handle tons of large files, 1TB may be suitable for most people. I’m pleased so far these past few days playing around on this computer. Considering that many of the specs are not too light, not super heavy, I think it’s going to be a good experience for casual users and then some. It’s suitable enough for my video capture project and light editing, so I’m glad I have this dedicated station for it. I anticipate I’ll want or need 32GB of RAM if I want to turn this station into an A/V editing suite. RAM and additional storage are likely the most reasonable upgrades I can make to this pre-built computer. The reason I may not upgrade the GPU is because the ones I’ve looked into would require me to also upgrade the PSU. I’m currently searching for a GPU that’s compatible with the PSU on this model. The computer is working well so far, but I would love to upgrade RAM and storage eventually. I had some hiccups when I booted the computer a couple of times, but it was after specific circumstances: one was an accidental power outage, upon startup again, it just wouldn’t go past the black and white hp logo screen, so I had to stop and start booting again. The other time, the boot was taking forever, so I stopped it, unplugged all the storage and usb devices from the front of the tower, and startup was quick/successful after that. I’ve had to unplug devices for another computer that had a startup issue like that so in this instance, I knew what to do and didn’t have issues after that.

After having an HP that finally took its last gasp after 13 years, i went in store and started looking around. This one caught my eye on specs as well ae price so I pulled the trigger on it. Brought it home, easiest set up ever and minimal space. Most of all whisper quiet and I am moving the speed on it!

I'm having no trouble at all with my new PC. My daughter was able to transfer all my files. Everything has been running faster and smoother. It also takes up less space on my table.

Been using this new pc for a couple of weeks. I got an itch to get back into music so i ordered Fl Studio Producer Edition, MIDI keyboard and this pc. It was going to either be this or something built for gaming. Now, not only did the salesperson talk me out of gaming, he snap stated why and due to that, i may go back and get another just for gaming. This thing is smooth, doesn’t have a crazy amount of added “ware” trying to sell my stuff. It’s just a strong PC with a lot of space and AMD Ryzen 7.

Super quiet PC, the speed is on point and it starts up WAY faster than my old one, granted it was 7 years old. I only use it for regular daily tasks and it's more than I could have asked for in performance

Very good computer for home use, it is very fast, has large storage capacity and it was easy to set up and install my files from my previous computer. Highly recommended

The staff was great and the Geek Squad did a good job of getting information transferred from my old computer to this new one. This new computer is so much smaller and lighter than my old tower but has an amazing amount of memory in comparison.

The HP OmniDesk Desktop features an AMD Ryzen 7 processor, 16GB of DDR5 memory, and a 1TB SSD. Its compact and aesthetically pleasing design makes it suitable for both me and my kids. We can use it for gaming and basic computing, and it's also cost-effective.

It does everything I need it to do. I had Geek Squad handle the data transfer, which made the transition from my previous PC to this system seamless. Startup and overall performance are fast and responsive. One major advantage for me is the rear audio port, which allowed me to continue using my existing speaker system—something many other systems I considered lacked, offering only a single front headphone jack. The system also has a clean, attractive design and provides plenty of USB ports for all my peripherals.

This is a great computer. The price is reasonable. And it comes loaded! It has ample USB ports. Be sre to check the connections of your monitor to make sre they fit. You may need to get an adapter if you are using an existing monitor from an older system. After I figured it out, it was easy to set up and use. No fault of the computer. I'm not very tech-savvy. It runs very quiet and it is very fast. It came with a wireless keyboard and mouse plus a free month of McAfee antivirus. The only other thing I would caution would be that it doesn't have a disc player but it doesn't really need one for set up. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I checked out this product because a friend recommended it. The price seemed pretty good for everything it offers, so I placed an order online. When I went to pick it up, the customer service was excellent. As for the product’s performance, I was blown away! It works great, and the best part is that it’s relatively compact. Definitely a great purchase!

Great computer for a family home. It’s strong enough to handle everyday use, schoolwork, streaming, and light to moderate gaming without any issues. The processing speed is solid, and the integrated graphics are better than expected. The only upgrade I felt I needed was adding more RAM for smoother online multiplayer gaming. Other than that, it performs really well right out of the box. This is a good option for getting into PC gaming, just not aimed at hardcore or high-end setups. Overall, a reliable and well-balanced desktop for general use and casual gaming.

This PC is an incredible value. The only downside is that it has limited expansion options and documentation. It is ripping fast and supports hi-res monitors. It counts on you having USB accessories like CD/DVD/Blu-Ray drive or Hard Drive. It doesn't have an extra usable socket for another NVMe drive. But it does have a ton of USB ports and includes 5gb/s and 10 gb/s usb ports in type A and type C. The documentation is poor, it is mainly pictures designed for international use. Online documentation is mainly generic to current HP PC's and is not specific to this one. I also found an oddity, when I bought the PC new in the box (not refurbished) at Best Buy in December 2025, the HP registration process that ran automatically during startup said that the product had been registered and the 1 year warranty started on October 25, 2025, two months before I bought the PC. I did enter a comment on that to HP but have not heard back yet. It would be nice if there was an expansion box available that could hold a CD/DVD/Bluray drive and SATA hard drives. And an extra socket for a second NVMe solid state drive on the motherboard. I would also like to put in a plug for the Best Buy salesmen at the Braintree store, I bought the PC and monitor and it was quick and efficient. Before I opened the monitor at home a few days later, I saw a better, larger one was on sale and was able to go back and exchange the unopened on for the better one with no problems, they figured out the difference in price and sales tax, it only took a few minutes.

Great computer desktop for the price. It was in sale during the Christmas season. Very fast, good size hard drive plenty of memory for what I use it for. I am an HP person and have been for more than 30 years. For me, HP, has never failed me. This is another success story for me. Would definitely buy again.
