Fast with i5 10300h. The 1660ti is almost as good as a rtx 2060. The optane speeds through applications. HP service has never let me down. I bought this due to a extended RMA on a previous laptop. HP executive customer service called and apologized and sent me a brand new omen in lieu of a older version of this model. Remember if you do need to have it serviced back up your data and remove and add ons. For price, hardware and excellent customer service you cant go wrong.

I have been using this laptop steadily for 4 months and I still really like it. While playing games the number pad does get rather warm. And I did find the pointed corners a bit difficult to get used to. My husband's laptop has rounded corners so the edges of mine were a bit difficult to get used to. Overall it is a great laptop. and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great laptop to either do homework or play games like FFXIV.

Unbelievable deal for the price. 1660 Super and 144hz is an interesting combo because you probably won’t hit those FPS in many modern titles except possibly CS:GO. It’s not Apple or Razer build quality but at one third the price it’s well worth the trade offs. Fast drives, high quality spec choices and a bargain considering today’s GPU craziness. Had no issues @ 1080p with Cyberpunk or Far Cry 5 at High settings

This HP laptop has been awesome so far. Really fast processor. Graphics are great and battery life is as advertised. Really great with for working, school, and home. I love the feature where my phone connects allowing me to be able to make calls through my laptop without even picking up my phone when I am working or doing homework. Haven't really explored everything about it yet, but I am loving everything thus far.

For the price it could use more RAM more than anything. Other than that its been a good computer. Was easily upgraded to windows 11. My son used it for a starter PC for about a year and had no issues whatsoever. Ive currently repurposed it for a secondary streaming PC. Its a good PC, might not run triple A games but its been good to me so far.

Upgraded to this laptop from an older and lesser HP Pavillion model, and I absolutely love it. It doesn't have a 4k screen, but it does look absolutely gorgeous and it's silky smooth. You can really only tell the difference when it is set next to another screen with that resolution. The performance of the laptop is great, and it is exactly what you would expect from the hardware inside. You won't be running Cyberpunk 2077 at Ultra in 60FPS or anything like that, but you can run most games at higher settings with an acceptable frame rate. I even had some games reach 120FPS. I would say that my favorite part of this laptop is how smooth the screen looks all the time. I also have been doing my college work on this laptop, and it goes without saying that it gets the job done well. I have even noticed that the lectures I watch look even better than before (this also includes YouTube, Hulu, and other streaming services). At $900 I would say this is a great purchase and I would totally recommend it to anyone wanting to delve into PC gaming, wanting to do schoolwork, or just wants a new fast paced laptop that's not going to destroy your wallet.

best computer I ever had, the performance is too good.

10/10 recommend to a friend. Does everything I want and more. The only thing I would say is the battery life while gaming is pretty bad maybe 3hrs but that’s expected just keep it plugged in and you’re good to go. The screen size is excellent not to big but better viewing than the 15.3 and the 144hz is very nice picture quality is as good if not better than my home pc monitor. No problems overheating or noisy fans.

This is perfect for video editing and creating content especially if you expand it by an additional 8 gigs of memory but even without that there's no need there's also a firmware coming with the equipment that is inside of this that will make things process even faster that update comes out at the end of this month great all-around laptop for the price with the specs you can't beat it

Laptop is fast! It’s great for most FPS. Of course, settings for most FPS games will need to be adjusted to meet the graphics capabilities but overall a very reliable computer. It also great to mention that it’s is upgradable to different RAM and storage memory. Strongly recommend for anyone looking into getting a gaming laptop. It’s good for beginners and at an affordable price.

Overall, the laptop has performed well. I do wish that it came with 16GB of memory rather than the 8GB. And also the KB feels delicate as I am a heavy typer and I don't want to break it so I've gotten a simple USB KB to use instead. At times when playing online games you can hear the fans working overdrive to keep the system cool so something to be aware of long term. Decent price though if on a budget crunch.

Decent performance for all kinds of tasks. from video editing to playing oculus quest 2 with the rift. overall good pick. Just glad i bought the extended warranty as it just died 3 days ago after 30 months. does not recognize the hard disk anymore.

Fast beautiful colors I enjoy playing games on this laptop

Overall, this computer is a great computer for gaming. It has a few downsides that can easily be worked around. It handles most games pretty smoothly. As of yet, I don't have a complaint about the ability of the computer to run games. The fans are a little loud, but by elevating the back of the computer just an inch or two, you can essentially stop ths fans from being needed for a while.

I got this little guy a year ago and i’ll be honest, its done everything i’ve wanted to do and played all the games that i like to play. Its no hotrod of a laptop, but when it comes to being well balanced for this price range, you really cant complain too much. All and all, great product for this price and performance area.

Picked this up today and came home to play some Valorant. This budget gaming laptop is superb for the money. Ran very smooth and cool on max settings. I was debating this laptop, the Omen, and a few others, but due to the shortage of everything i thought I'd give this one a try. I am not disappointed in my decision. Adding more RAM sometime in the future and that is all it needs. There was no problem with the 8GB of RAM installed, but in the future for more intense multitasking while playing games, probably needed. Not many sub 900.00 laptops that give this level of performance. Very little Bloatware as well installed, which is surprising from HP. The only knock I will give is the lid is a bit flimsy, but if you are careful with it, shouldn't be a problem.

Bought for son who just starting to get into gaming and also for upcoming school online thanks to covid-19.... He's really enjoying it's graphic quality, the speed is adequate for his needs and the lighted keypad is neat feature! Overall for price value we are really satisfied. Hp has never let us down.

This laptop is awesome! It is easily upgradable, I upgraded it to 32 gb of ram myself and I am not a computer guy. The only downside is the fan is a little loud if you play games on it. I use it for video editing and it is a beast for it.
