    I bought the laptop to replace an old HP Pavillion tower unit with XP OS. I needed something that was more than entry level but, not decked out for playing games. The Pavilion Notebook was perfect for my needs. A few issues with Windows 8.1 but, was an easy jump to Windows 10. The unit has enough memory and more than enough disk storage. PS. one of the main reasons I bought the unit was because of the color, Vibrant Red looks good.

    Windows 8.1 is not as user friendly as any of the previous Windows systems - hence the fast introduction of Windows 10. The screen "disappears" while you are viewing of typing, Not east to find programs as with previous Windows. Takes a bit of getting used to the system & "touch screen" look & scrolling rather than using the cursor to go through a listing of programs. Would recommend to experience computer user; causal user may have difficulty & not for an older person.

    The Kindle is being used constantly and it delivers what was expected from it. The HP laptop is performing flawlessly, as expected. We are pleased with our purchases.

    The laptop was very easy to setup and use. The only drawback is sometimes when moving the mouse the side menu opens, but that may just come from some inexperience.
